Oh, I thought he was talking about content in general, not just tv shows. My bad. I know there were checkmarks a few months ago. Didn't know that only applies to movies. Which is kinda not useful.
-
GrimReaper started following Several questions....
-
You have a Dev and an App Dev telling you something - I'd take their statements as knowing what they're talking about. You're mixing multiple watched indicators, so to clarify that: Movies get watched checkmark once fully played. Episodes get watched checkmark once fully played. TV Shows do not get watched checkmark when fully played (and they haven't had it for over a decade). Unwatched episodes count just decreases and eventually disappears when all episodes played. No checkmark.

Dude, come on. I watch some movies, and after I watch them I leave them on my server so that my girlfriend can watch them. We used that Watched checkmark, so she can know what movies she can watch. That was until a few months ago. No need to try to convince me that it was all a dream. And how about this post I posted 3 years ago, where you can see the checkmark: Waw that also a dream? And I will find more screenshots, I have some from more recent.

High RAM usage on Emby Server 4.9.3.0 even with Direct Play and rclone mounts
iloveparks replied to jordan888's topic in Linux
@Luke/ @sa2000I decided to move this discussion to the other thread as it seems more directly applicable and there is a lot more activity there. FWIW I am still seeing high usage on 4.9.5.0 - currently at 11GB of RAM used after 2.5 days. Hope to continue the troubleshooting discussion with either of you there -

Moving to feature requests as support streamlink. I thought there already was one.
-
I don't mind getting my hands dirty and writing a script to work around that - but I need Emby to pick it up somehow. Aside from the concept itself in which we have an image type that is practically in limbo (and it's actually the highest priority image-type used in CW row episode-wise). As stated, it can either be done by the server automatically by copying series thumb (or episode thumb/primary image if one prefers) as episode landscape and noone would be the wiser. Or simply give us the possibility to import those ourselves programatically.
-
Sorry, I don't follow. You would need to provide the IP address to canyouseeme. Can you tell us exactly what you did and what happened?
-
@GrimReaperBoth should be doable, but you might want to wait a lil bit till the next version comes out.
-
What is this mysterious version? I did not see it in the LG apps store.
-
Is that one of the new Vega devices?
-
That's the problem - I don't know where the failure is. I've done everything suggested, set up port forwarding, but still no connection. However, when I tried canyouseeme.org, it didn't match the IP address on the Emby dashboard

Emby Web App Update: Version The Emby Web app has been updated to version Go and try out: https://app.emby.media/ Changes 26.0.10 Fix positioning of video OSD brightness slider

Sorry, I thought we had discussed this pre-implementation and that we decided the episode image is what should show there instead of the Show poster. Its not unclear its just that nothing in the wild will assign a thumb image to an individual episode.

What is doing automatic collections and how do I stop it?
abroadhursthall replied to filecore's topic in General/Windows
I'm grateful for this topic. My server has, despite not being set to, created a load of automatic collections. I've just gone to delete them and got the frankly terrifying "Deleting these items will delete them from both the file system and your media library" message. Before I inadvertently destroy weeks of work, can it be confirmed that this is absolutely only the technical data relating to the collections, but not the videos within? - Today
-
Okay. It was more than 10 years ago. It is a little more than 12. Hence this user in 2014 wanted larger unwatched count on their TV series (and collections) artwork. Then in 2018 options for the green watched checkmark were discussed. This isn't a recent change. It can be discussed again.

Does Emby have full functionality and work on the new Fire TV Select devices from Amazon?
-
HI, can you get it to happen again?
-
Hi, it does not, no.
-
I know Infuse offers the ability to create a "streamlink" file that will play my Apple purchases (movies/tv shows). I had read that Emby can use strm files. Does that work the same way as Infuse where you click on the episode and the file takes you to the Apple TV site to play the title?
-
Yes.
-
I honestly don't understand the reluctance here nor what is unclear in all this. There's an image type that can be assigned, is used by Emby core and is utilized by multiple plugins (including your own CA, as stated). There's no naming convention for it (although it is saved under certain one within server's metadata folder, breaking opt-in option to save artwotk next to media). There should be one. As elaborated few years ago, it's the difference between: and That was only CA plugin example. There are multiple plugins nowdays that overlay that episode landscape image (Iconic, EmbyIcons, EmbyNewOverlay...).
