Just an update - no failure yesterday. Working through adding stuff back. As I checked the dates and logs of the third party apps, I don't think it was them, so started back jellystat, are-dashboard, jellyseer, homepage. Just the Emby plugins removed so far. Will monitor today.

I guess you've already tried a guide refresh despite the not working preview? I would start with enabling debug logging for Emby server, the plugin and also by enabling the plugin option "Debug logging of channel rules for channel" and of course selecting the problematic channel. Look for any errors in the log file after a guide refresh. If no errors are shown, it will at least list you all items for each channel rule that is evaluated, so you can determine at which rule it fails. If you don't mind all your videos being visible in the log, you can also send me the log file via PM.

Yes by itself these work. What you can't do though is put these same disaster folders into another movie library and get different groupings just for that.

I just want to add I use Tracearr and it's the best statistics plugin. I've been using it for a few months now with no issues.

But it does work.. if this aspect of Emby didn't work, I wouldn't use it as it is the absolute core of why I chose it.. it allows me to combine my different resolutions of movies into the same library and then control access to them for people in the home vs people outside

Emby Theater loads assets from an online source - it is essentially deprecated and I don't recommend using it. Emby for Windows (in the MS store) is a completely packaged app.

Funnily enough a plugin could possible be made for that. There's a plugin from @bakes82that almost does something like it. Add a list of known github repos and it could be used for that purpose. With permission from the owners ofc.

Your plugin (Nice work!) while gathering a following much faster than my plugins hasn't had much time "on the bench" yet next to what min had before i could get them in the catalog, granted i can be a bit of an idiot at times.. This is not a slight at Emby, just a "Have patience young padawan"!

I used the .exe installer. Do you mean it downloads its payload from the windows store? Why does it need to on an already installed app? Is it an update check?

I just made an account quickly to say that I had a very similar issue, and this fixed it for me! After my Windows server updated to 4.10.0.40, all clients that were not running locally on the server itself would get stuck while trying to connect. This affected the Android TV app, web client, and Android phone app, all on my local network. I went to Admin > Devices (where the affected devices were still showing as having connected recently). After removing them from the device list, they were instantly able to reconnect and re-authenticate successfully. Thanks for posting this. It saved me a a ton of troubleshooting! I hope it helps others.

Hi, our app does not require internet access, but since it is delivered through the windows store, it could be something related to that.
