OHHH on the old emby client its sooo sick I love this
-
OK yes it looks sick use a layout on the home screen unchecked shows the spotlight banner but your going to make it also work if it's checked right ? right , yes please
- Today
-
I will look into that method. Just a figure of speech.
-
Think I found it, home sections custom title
-
You know that Emby provides many way to configure the home screen and even more in the brand-new stable release?
-
Under Settings - Video Player, click on Energy-Efficient, then on Customize. There, choose NVDEC for hw decoding. Also you can try GPU or GPU-next at thge very bottom, with or without GPU dumb mode. Or you can just start by switching between the three preferences (HQ, Balanced, EE)
-
It would get rid of "Latest" at the first of all on the home screen
-
in the bata i get MPV rendering artifacts running rtx 5060 i can bypass it with cd /opt/Emby-Beta ./Emby -nompv and it fix the artifacts

Why do trailers in the windows app have ads but not the web app?

Thanks. This is important for knowing from which side of the cake we need to start biting.. @Luke -
Mosetter27 started following New computer

Hello! So my computer is starting to act up so I’m getting a new one. What do I need to do to transfer my existing server on my old computer onto the new computer I’m getting tomorrow without full on redoing everything
-
These are all things that Emby is doing already just without the plugin - what do you think/expect that would be different? I'm afraid, that's completely out of range of what a server plugin can do...
-
When adding extension methods to substitute the missing APIs, you do NOT need to change many lines of code - that's the whole point. For example, netstandard2.0 has String.Contains(string) but no overload to specify a comparison like OrdinalIgnoreCase, so if you use that overload (which is included in .net 6), you will get a compilation error when you switch to netstandard2.0. If you have used that method many times, you'll get many errors. But instead of changing all those lines, you can create an extension method on string with that (now missing) signature. The extension method achieves the same but in a way that is compatible with netstandard2.0. Depending on the namespace of the extension method each of your usages of that method will (either automatically or by only adding a using declaration) automatically use the extension method and the errors go away. As soon as you change the targetframework, these will all show up as compile errors, so there's no way to miss any..

Your plugin is very good & you focus on live streams but just hear me out if you added an option to play local content that's not a live streaming link but just from a local library so for example we could have it add a local file "Netflix Movies". I like to have all my netflix movies in 1 folder and disney in 1 folder hulu in 1 folder etc.. so if it was like Netflix Movies Netflix Series Hulu Movies Hulu Series etc.. on the home screen would look sweet I would use that for ALL my media it also would get rid of the horrid "Latest" at the first of all on the home screen Also if you were some how able to have it play a trailer in the top right of the home screen when browsing media that would be sick a heck
-
Exactly just like this watch at the very end when it goes from the trailer back to the original poster it looks great Video.mp4

Not gonna lie, i'm all in on a grid view! Seems like everything in horizontal scrolling now (well folder view still rocks). And yes it becomes tedious quickly. A setting to allow the option to choose sounds appropriate. Roku / Samsung TV / Roku TV / Android. Server side / User controlled option.... Remember back in "the day" it was grid based wasn't it?
-
For home screen only for latest movies and latest series "Only" have it auto play a trailer that's it. Just while browsing them on the home screen for the like 12 posters it shows for each of those 2 sections (movies & series) only.
-
It was just an example of a trailer in the upper cornerbut that exact is not what I like either But just like it is except after few seconds while browsing home screen have the pic go from pic to auto trailer thats it.

Atrium — a native tvOS app for your Emby server
jasonmcroy replied to vdatanet's topic in Third Party Apps
@vdatanetI have 2 Apple TVs (Living room and bedroom). I noticed today that if I watch a few things on the one Apple TV and then open Atrium on the other Apple TV I have to force close the app for it update what I was watching on the other Apple TV. It doesn't seem to be refreshing if you just open the app without it having been forced close first. -
[Legacy App] Screensaver slideshow stops after displaying first image [ET 3.0.20/21]
scottpro replied to scottpro's topic in Windows & Xbox
Yeah, that has changed too. The update (26.0.22) in style.css is causing this. There were a lot of edits to how opacity is used which is causing the text to not show up and the black bars. -
show me a pic thnks

Do you really have HUNDREDS (700?!?) devices? The Emby license is for one household. There might be a way to better sniff the devices.
-
Yeah, when i asked the AI for a summery it did mention that. It does help having those methods available. I don't see this as being too difficult, just a lot of lines to edit and making sure to catch them all.
-
Technically it's good to go already. The only holdup is that releasing as stable now would create a gap in coverage of RPi4 devices, so we're waiting a little longer until we got that done and tested in the beta. Unless you actually do have such device, you're much better off with the beta right now already. It's been published in January and only very few bugs have surfaced (and fixed) since then.
-
Thank you for your work on this! I just saw the announcement on Discord as well.
