@crusher11 Apologies for replying late. Could you please do this: Start the app (if not running) Go to Settings > About > Log Files tab Toggle "Enable debug logging" on Close the app Wait 5s Start the app Play something which doesn't play <= only once please Stop playback Go to Settings > About > Log Files tab Click on EmbyClient.txt - it opens in Notepad - and "Save as" to some location you remember Repeat this for the most recent mpv-2026*****.txt file Post here or PM them to me. Thank you very much and sorry for the disruption.

Yes that did the trick. With the delay present, playback will start smoothly at the correct time. The only issue i am experiencing now is, when it switches to a different episode. It will leave to the previous screen and immediately go back trying to play the next item. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it will fail, like in the recording above. Any idea if that is fixable? Maybe adding the delay between episodes could help here too?

HI, it is usually pretty quick. Please email billingsupport@emby.media if you have any more questions related to your payment. Thanks.

I would say keep it as is but switch the background to match iOS.

Micro-stutters with 25 FPS content on Apple TV Emby app
SultanOfTux replied to SultanOfTux's topic in Apple TV
Thanks. I have attached the full Emby Server log from the time I reproduced the issue. The affected file is: The Rookie - S8, Ep12 - Spionagespiele During the test, the native Emby Apple TV app was playing this file. The log shows: Client: Emby for Apple TV 2.0.3 (2) Emby Server version: 4.9.5.0 Device: Apple TV Playback item: The Rookie - S8, Ep12 - Spionagespiele Playback method reported by Playback Reporting: DirectStream The app is requesting the file as original.mkv Subtitles were disabled: SubtitleStreamIndex=-1 The request appears to use libmpv I do not see an ffmpeg transcoding log generated for this playback For comparison, I also tested the exact same episode on the same Apple TV using Infuse, and it plays smoothly there. Infuse also accesses the file directly and does not have the micro-stutter issue. So the current comparison is: Native Emby Apple TV app, 25 FPS content: micro-stutters Infuse on the same Apple TV, same file, same server: smooth Native Emby Apple TV app, 23.976 FPS content: smooth This seems to point to an issue specific to 25 FPS playback in the native Emby Apple TV app, rather than a server, file, network, or transcoding issue. Please let me know if you need anything else, such as a MediaInfo output for the affected file or a short sample clip. embyserver.txt- 2 replies

Apple TV app showing wrong quality option and changing it does nothing.
katbyte replied to katbyte's topic in Apple TV
It does not seem limited to that one movie, i noticed today it is happening with other random media (as well i keep get audio desyncs where its offset by around a second or two). this seems like a new behaviour. let me know if you want the FFMP logs for these as well - Today

Sub-Killer Plugin - remove unwanted subs (Samsung Friendly)
Dickydodah! replied to Cheesegeezer's topic in Plugins
I used to use this plugin and was involved in the early testing. Unfortunatly as @GrimReapersaid the dev hasn't been active for a long while now so I have started using FileFlows to remove all but English subs. It works well and if that is all you want to do you can use the free version. At some point I might also remove non English audio.- 88 replies

Hi, I am experiencing persistent micro-stutters when playing 25 FPS content in the native Emby app on Apple TV. The same files play perfectly smoothly in Infuse on the same Apple TV, so the issue does not appear to be related to the files themselves, the server, or the network connection. Interestingly, I do not experience this issue with 23.976 FPS content. Those files play smoothly in the native Emby app. The problem seems to occur specifically with 25 FPS content. My setup: Device: Apple TV App: Native Emby app for Apple TV Apple TV settings: Match Content Frame Rate: enabled Match Dynamic Range: enabled Content affected: 25 FPS video files Content not affected: 23.976 FPS video files Result in Emby app with 25 FPS content: persistent micro-stutters during playback Result in Emby app with 23.976 FPS content: smooth playback Result in Infuse with the same 25 FPS files: perfectly smooth playback I have already tested the common Apple TV video settings, including enabling frame-rate matching and dynamic-range matching. Unfortunately, the issue still occurs only in the Emby app and only with 25 FPS content. Could you please investigate whether the Emby Apple TV app is correctly triggering the proper output refresh rate for 25 FPS content, or whether there may be an issue in the tvOS playback pipeline used by the Emby app? Please let me know if you need any logs, playback stats, or sample file information. I would be happy to provide them. Thanks.

GrimReaper replied to Cheesegeezer's topic in Plugins
The plugin is in hiatus, plugin Dev hasn't been present on the forums for over a year, so you might not get the update in forseeable future - or ever. If feasible, alternate venues might be worth exploring.- 88 replies

Just found this, and it works great, but there is a problem with the newer servers, you can't scroll on the plugin page to get to all settings, in a browser. Another option to add since you are already remixing the mkv files is to remove non matching audio tracks.- 88 replies

Pixelsmash Vulnerability in ffmpeg (CVE-2026-8461) - Is Emby vulnerable?
Ranse replied to CHBMB's topic in General/Windows
Hi @Luke any plans for stable release ? I would rather stay on stable release , but at the same time don't want to have the server vulnerable to this. -
This was resolved in an earlier version, but it seems to have recurred. Other collections work fine, but attempting to match movies in my “1,001 Movies You Must See Before You Die” collection returns zero results.
-
HI, have you tried it with newer releases?
-
Very much enjoying this but had one suggestions. Currently EMBY lets you natively swap theMovieDB ratings for IMDB on the display. It would be cool if your plugin had that toggle as well. Or even better is if it had toggles to let you store one of the other ratings options into the IMDB metadata location.

embyforkodi (next-gen) 12.X.X support
supermood replied to quickmic's topic in Emby For Kodi Next Gen
thanks I've send you an pm -
Thanks for clarifying.

No, because Emby is still the front end for the login. LDAP would just make it communicate with Authentik to authenticate the credentials. Additionally, 2FA would just mean adding the TOTP code to the end of the password field. So no, it doesn't "work good as well."
