I used the .exe installer. Do you mean it downloads its payload from the windows store? Why does it need to on an already installed app? Is it an update check?

I just made an account quickly to say that I had a very similar issue, and this fixed it for me! After my Windows server updated to 4.10.0.40, all clients that were not running locally on the server itself would get stuck while trying to connect. This affected the Android TV app, web client, and Android phone app, all on my local network. I went to Admin > Devices (where the affected devices were still showing as having connected recently). After removing them from the device list, they were instantly able to reconnect and re-authenticate successfully. Thanks for posting this. It saved me a a ton of troubleshooting! I hope it helps others.

That is not in our current plans. Too much liability risk for us and too many issues with the stores.

Yes, I finally figured out how to do that. First I had to delete the app (not just offload it) and the I could get it to ask for user name and password. That was direct, not via Emby Connect, as you suggested. Thanks for the help.

OK if you have a touch input device connected, then that would be one reason that you wouldn't see arrows. In other words the browser is telling us that your primary input method is touch and so we're adjusting the UI accordingly.

I set a custom path, but it shouldn't be an SMB Share. It was an absolute path for the file system of my QNAP server (which Emby is running on). Although, looking at this now, it is a "symlink". In QNAP. /share/HTPC/MediaBrowser is my metadata custom path, which is local to server, but that is actually a pointer to /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/HTPC/MediaBrowser (/share/HTPC being the link to /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/HTPC). I didn't capture screenshots, but I found an interesting scenario. The actor P.J. Byrne was showing up in some Movies, but there wasn't a show on his page (in Emby) and I know he's a main cast of Legend of Korra. I went to Legend of Korra and P.J. Byrne's was having the broken image placeholder (meaning it had not associated the two). A simple Metadata refresh on Legend of Korra fixed the issue for P.J. Byrne (I think this what you suggested would originally work for Christian Kane). I have no idea why that worked there, but not for Christian Kane. Would it be a horrible idea to delete database entries for Christian Kane manually and then load it back in, refresh, perform database vacuum and see what happens?

Perhaps it would also be possible to allow custom repositories, like with Jellyfin...?

Did you hit "Save" at the bottom of the dialog after you went through the auth process?

With the next app update it will be docked to the right like so: At least on TV. On small mobile screens it will still be the same.

The first post sends people there to install, so the attachment count on this thread was never going to show much - no bug reports in this thread, and people here who have been running it for weeks @ebr@Luke I don't know what number you're looking for or where you want it counted, so I can't tell if we're close. What does the plugin need to hit, and over how long? Give me a bar and I'll go meet it. Everyone else: if you run this, drop a quick reply here with your setup.
