Your logic is incorrect. First and foremost, use Emby folder naming guide. Second, the most basic fetcher setting at its defaults will download "most" everything. OP, All I can tell you is name the folder according to the themoviedb, thetvdb... (you can modify radarr settings to match accordingly) A colon on themoviedb is represented as dash "-" Your fetcher settings are fine. P.s this specific title is considered a documentary so yeah... themoviedb.org naming would be good. Also, if you rename the folder, hit a refresh or rescan or whatever is called nowadays via the three dot menu. {Movie Title} ({Release Year}) - {Quality Full} {MediaInfo VideoDynamicRangeType} {Edition Tags} /siderant... I litterally to do not understand why the refusal of so many folks here to just name their folders and files properly.

Is this a dream? If I asked this topic on plex MAYBE admin would answer and now battling for 6 weeks I as admin can't share my libraries to my self. So much with passwords, accounts, tokens. I have the life time pass created by old email but ill be dammed if they can just add it to new one 6 weeks. But ill install this this weekend parallel to plex. Renaming the folder won't do anything if the image fetcher settings aren't correct, that's why I disagreed with your post.

Concerts\Metallica- Some Kind of Monster (2004)\Metallica- Some Kind of Monster (2004) - Bluray-1080p.mkv Concerts, Comedy sets, sports, ufc are classified as events and provided they are on the themoviedb, the same movie settings apply so no monkey business need as long as the folder is name appropriately.

This is a really nice addition, currently on Emby stable, I guess it gets real interesting in combination with Home Screen Companion when beta becomes stable. Thanks for this!

This would definitely be a useful feature. I have the same problem with a lot of movie franchises where it's easy to miss one sequel unless you manually check TMDb. A built-in "Show Missing Movies" option for collections would save a lot of time. As a workaround, I sometimes use apps like Castle HD App to keep track of what I've watched and what I'm planning to watch, but it would still be much better if the media server itself could automatically highlight missing titles in a collection.

We don't "conflate" them. We just only support different qualities at this time. Different editions is on our list for the future.

The issue is that Emby conflates two different ideas of "versions". What's needed is to properly separate those concepts and handle them differently. As a user when I think of "versions of a film" it's different cuts, different content. Examples would be a director's cut and a theatrical cut. In some cases the differences are drastic and even have different titles - Paroxismus (1969) is a good example of this, and there are quite a few more in my collection where Emby's interference is unwelcome. Different versions should be chosen based only on user interaction, and should be "sticky" in the way OP suggests. What Emby thinks of as "versions" and tries to automate, is not so much about different versions but different formats. For example, I can transcode a 1080p film to 720p and then it's entirely reasonable to automatically select which format to play based on the device capabilities - and it should do so only within the same version of the film.

You can do it on the Emby for Android TV app by going to all episodes of a series then clicking to hide played and hitting shuffle, but you can't do it on the Emby for android app. This is the main reason I still use the android tv app over the normal android app.
