Why would an admin be on top of locking things but not on top of updating things so all metadata is present?

This is the view from the server directly...time in lower right is the system time in ET and the alerts are showing PT.

That's upto the Admin to lock it if it's not to be changed, but this is mainly to be used when there is metadata missing.

Hi, I would check the time zone on both the server machine and the client machine.

The only way the errors got carried over would be by taking the entire database. You might also be able to come up with a database query to null out all images containing this, then you wouldn't need to visit the movie screens and you could just refresh metadata on the library.

This is what I did while moving to another server. It was a fresh install and the artwork errors were carried over.

So fallback is encoded in the mkv? It was a 43" TV in my bar so I just updated it to a Hisense TV that supports Dolby Vision. The 24" in the kitchen isn't worth the bother..

Can you try restarting the tv?

You can also sign up for the beta through the store and not have to sideload. This will also provide automatic updates as they come.

You would have to uninstall the current version of the app to go back a version, and it would remove all of your saved settings. Sign up for the beta as EBR has suggested and report any problems if you are still experiencing them. The latest beta version is 2.1.54, which is available to download here. Once downloaded, you will need to sideload it onto your Shield. Which model Shield do you have?

I am not exactly sure if I should put this here or in the server sub thread. I use Emby for Windows server beta and generally keep it up-to-date every time there is a new update. I also use Google TV devices such as the ONN Google TV or a native Google TV app built into the TV when playing Dolby Vision files. Sometimes they fail completely or sometimes I get the green and purple hues. Other times they play fine. This seems to be file specific and occurs on TV's that don't natively support Dolby Vision. Is this due to encoding or an issue with transcoding or an issue with the playback device?
