@fbourgI changed a couple of FFmpeg arguments and coupled the blackframe detection to the hardware acceleration settings. This should speed up chromaprint/hash detection. it's in the catalog as beta version 2.8.9.2

@fbourg i'm in the middle of changing some ffmpeg arguments that should help a bit. Also looking into making Blackframe detection be hardware accelerated if enabled in the settings. This should help the performance a good bit. Priority is still on precision after that.

Allowing outgoing to https://mb3admin.com fixes the issue.

70 days seems to be about right for 62k episodes with the system specs you have tbh. I will look into making it all faster, but for now the priority if precision. It's no use to make it fast if it doesn't work. Edit: I'm mixing you up with another user, sorry about that. But the time for completion still looks about right. I should also note that the ETA is not very precise. It's just a calculation based on how long the last detections took and then multiplying by what is missing.

The display of what it says is normal normal. It might be buffering, but the method of play is still direct.

I will take a look at the plugin info. Not good at installing plugin's manually and didn't see it in the official plugin list.

I'm referring specifically to the ytrailers plug-in. The theme plug-ins are working just fine for me.

Where are you entering the PIN? Are you running your own Emby Server? The TV app is only half of the system. See: Quick Start
