I think you were suggesting they create a whitlelist through the CF firewall rules. That works to filter anyone connecting to the domain, but it seems like OP is concerned with direct connections to his open port. Putting the actual CF networks into a whitelist on the server itself should block all direct connections, right? Everything must go through CF.

This is a violation of the Emby terms of service. No one on the forums will help you.
-
I suggested that, but they absolutely do not seem interested in using the tools available to them.

The main page of your server dashboard shows your local LAN and remote WAN addresses.

A request to Emby - please clarify the situation with the AndroidTv app
mrmech replied to ecrispy's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
I'm still confused about which version is actively developed and which one is sunsetting: Emby for Android Emby for Android TV Which one has more features and allows you to search and save posters? - Yesterday

I"m able to run 4.9.5.0 on a TrueNAS 13.3U1.2 server. Are you still having troubles?
-
Okay, if it’s my server where would it show in here?
-
@LukeI tried again plugged in and at 90% battery and it’s giving me the same result. I'm using the windows server app for my server and have port forwarding turned on in my router settings for port 8096. Pretty much everything is setup in its default configuration on the server side since everything just worked right away. Outside of the default windows firewall there is no additional antivirus that could be blocking a connection that I am aware of. I am attaching logs from my windows server as well as from the iOS app. embyserver.txt emby_ios_1786921520860.6638.txt

If it’s someone else’s then you’ll need to go to them for guidance on how to connect. They may have to setup your access again.

Is it your Emby Server or someone else's?

Where do I find my server address info?
-
I am curious about the database error on the screen though, so please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
-
HI, this shouldn't be a problem. Just restart the app and do a new server connection and enter your server address info manually.

Spencity89 started following Accidentally clicked forget server
-
I got a new tv and went to connect to the server. Using the media pin. When I did I was able to click on to the server like normal but got this screen (see attached pic). I backed out and accident clicked forget this server. Now I can’t find the server when I use the pin to connect.

It does do that on the movie or series, but doesn't go into each of the cast members. For that you'd have to refresh metadata on actual people, which would take you longer. Did you run the scan metadata folder task like i mentioned earlier?
-
So what is the point of "Search for missing metadata" function then when it cannot check for missing files? Is it just crawling the db and checking for missing entries?

It doesn't know that it's invalid until it actually tries to reach it, and this doesn't happen until you view it in the user interface.
-
You are going to want to turn those back on but you are saying that this channel was out of sync when direct playing, remuxing AND transcoding? If so, I suspect an issue at the source.
-
With the new home screen features, we're 80% of the way there. You can basically create many types of smart "playlists" as rows on your home screen now. So, it isn't a huge leap to move that forward but, also, you have a bunch of it already.
-
When I fetch metadata why Emby quits prematurely when it sees an invalid path? It should fetch new data and overwrite the path.
-
I think the query just has to be adjusted to look for the right records to blank out. Since they're pointing to folders on your windows c drive, that's probably what it should be looking for.

The response does not help. My images are not in opt but in var, check the screenshots.
