It looks like 2 nfo files for one movie when you view from movies view or folders view for the gray folder that seems to be working while the other nfos are same from both views

Ok, was just wondering how the post with the Blue Moon got the certificate to display? Have tried to install EmbyIcons Plugin, but it's not working. I'm running Emby 4.10.0.40 and tried to install EmbyIcons (twice - see below). Have restarted Emby after the plugin had installed, but it doesn't display under my installed plugins?

That's right; I cloned this server from another one—something I've done before without issues—and you just have to delete the files rm connect.txt rm device.txt before starting Emby, and it works perfectly. However, I did the same thing with this server; everything was fine at first, but over time, these problems started to appear.

How do you get the BBFC rating to display as an icon?

just regular strm or symlink with no vantage point tags on 2 show gray folders

Hi Mahinepua, Thank you for the clarity and guidance. I got MS store installed and used it to install EMBY. Unfortunately I got the same error so I decided to start digging a bit deeper. It turns out that MS Store really messes with permissions on the installation folders. For some reason the ADMINISTRATOR group only get assigned "READ CONTENTS". I tried to take ownership and change but no luck. I did notice that USERS had READ, EXECUTE etc. So I created a new user installed EMBY again and it works! The lesson then is install EMBY on Windows Server 2025 as a USER not as ADMINISTRATOR.

I've only noticed this issue in Emby for Android TV (tested with versions 3.5.28 and 3.5.55) while playing music. The workaround I mentioned is to open Emby in a web browser on the TV. When using the browser, the TV doesn't turn off after some time.

Not sure I've quite understood what you're asking, as it appears you've found both of those settings: if you want NFOs to just be read, on a per-library basis: leave NFO Metadata Reader enabled and NFO Metadata Saver disabled/toggled-off.
