@Luke, can you help me with this? How do I fix the graphic, ideally by getting it to use the one embedded in the MP3 files? It's still stuck with the wrong image. If this is a cache problem, how do I force it to purge the cache for this album? Thanks!

Why would you not have it use the ones in networks by default then whatever is in networks we could change to our liking ?

It didn't work. I literally tried it and reported back that it didn't work. I have also updated the server and it is still happening. Also, it's not just an image. I would ask to review my posts, but the link doesn't even go to a proper page (The Authorization Failed page from the second screen shot in my original post). I think something associates the itemId for the actor as a different object type (not an actor, basically).

Both apps of amazon as available in the published amazon store running with new beta server latest published edition The older Amazon Fire TV app (still my favourite) is running great on the new server, but the recording feature needs some work. If you click record series in guide It blindly records every episode on every channel, no optuons or way to select otherwise and even when I change the settings in the schedule screen in live tv, the classic Firestick app doesn’t update—I have to go to the web app, live tv, schedule to adjust the settings then they save. Could someone please fix this and make it so the app sgows settings and remembers options for next time please (also the schedule needs fixed as any adjustments made are just ignored by the server) The newer Android replacement app for Firestick works well with most of the features, issues i have noted so far are, the main TV guide freezes halfway down, forcing me to exit and reopen the screen multiple times just to see all the channels. The mini guide (this is the one you can bring up while watching tv) also has a major bug where it gets stuck on the screen as a ghost image, only way to get rid of this when it locks in place is to press home button on amazon remote, go to settings then apps and force stop the app. Not ideal when watching a TV programme making the app practically unusable for live TV. I’ve reported this before, so please check my history for the photos and details I previously sent again can the relevant team please look into this.

Last question I promise. I'm seeing a lot of this in the logs. Is that normal? Is that due to the throttling probably? I was just answering as that's where you download the new release if there is one. I'm away without my laptop so I can't see what the latest release version is but as they're not in the official catalog, they don't auto update

If external HDs both show this but the internal one doesn't, maybe there is an issue with the USB (I presume) connection. Does the Windows Event viewer show anything possibly related in the system log? Paul

+1 to that. Plain text is nice and simple. I also don't see the need to go to the text list below the posters if you are just wanting to see what is on the server that is attributed to the individual. However, I also like the idea of options. Have this setting disabled as an option in the future would be a good compromise. Having the list on the TV screen saves me from having to go to those websites and being subjected to their ads.

This is one of many reasons I don't have Emby do metadata scraping. You can't trust online sources many times. During my actor manager app development I have discovered many of the IMDb have the Roman numberals or grave-marker dates. Then there is TVDB with same name actors getting merged into one profile. I'll stick with my NFO's.

There is no error message, the content simply freezes with a spinning blue wheel - whether attempting to continue where I left off or re-start from the beginning. Last night my NAS churned away as if trying to provide the file. Tonight the NAS is silent. The only trace of an error is if/when I can get into "stats for nerds" it says, under the streaming section, "Recovering from playback error". All I'm doing, literally, is attempting to continue watching content (1080p) that I started watching on my Amazon firestick 4K Max the previous night. It will work just fine, but only after you've seen the broken image placeholder. Then it gets cleared out of the database and a new image can take that slot. Prior to you seeing that, the actor will have an image url stored in the database. The server doesn't know yet that it's not valid, and it won't know until you try to view it. Therefore, a metadata refresh will not replace it.

This will not work. Although you can use the same folder in more than one movie library, it is still only imported into your database once. You will not be able to have two different groupings for the same file. What I would suggest is turning the grouping features off for one of the libraries because you may find that it bounces back and forth.

Hi, just be aware, we have not been testing our docker container on windows at all, so we really have no idea how that would go.
