Hi, I just wanted to note that this issue is still present on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPad Air (5th Generation) on app version 2.2.55. The first image below is direct play 4K Dolby Vision (shows a greenish tint). The second image is an SDR tone mapped version (colours looking correct).

While you didn't specifically ask me to do anything, or report what you did, I saw the 3.8.6 and tried it. I saw it says improved logging. So I recorded the log and shared it with you From what I can tell now, it's not even listing the other episodes of ThunderCats. Maybe the problem before was the log was false? (Kind of hard to tell if the show isn't watched, Right? And you removed the log). Does "improved logging" mean you hide the errors? "V: the final battle" still shows up as unwatched on Emby but watched on Trakt. I'm at my wits end. I reported a problem, it was real. I've continued to follow up to the best of my ability, but you keep asking questions that, if you followed the thread and everything I've reported, look like you're annoyed to be helping while I'm annoyed at the questions you are asking that look like you haven't followed this entire discussion. I'm assuming you don't have these specific shows to test on your end, maybe you do, but perhaps engage me a little here so we can solve this together.

I side loaded 3.5.40 to test and nothing has changed. After over an hour of inactivity it's still logging me back into the admin account without requiring a PIN. The login screen popped up, but simply pressing the back button on my remote bypasses it.

No, it is actually the same result. There is also no slider for audio books, but just books, not sure if that is relevant.

Sure, but shouldn't the other software do the same? Because if they already had that implemented then the current nfo's would not cause them any problems because they would just be ignoring the id node.

This might be solution, however as you indicated emby already supports a uniqueids, would it make more sense to prioritize it over the deprecated id? kodi docs mark it as deprecated as well and shouldn't be used if uniqueids is present

Did you figure this out yet? I can write instructions if not.

If they skip parsing the id node and then on unqiueid check the type attribute for tmdb, imdb, etc. It will indicate what the id is.

pray tell how would other software behave exactly? it's not them writing tmdb ids into imdb GUID the issue is limited to emby, AFAIK a simple id.startsWith('tt') could solve it, or more complex regex if you want. I am not sure why the push back against fixing real bug and and for all intent and purposes emby is giving misleading and incorrect info. and all softwares that are writing nfo files uses tmdb for movies and tvdb for shows. at least that the current standards.

In terms of Emby reading the nfo, couldn't you also configure your other software to not write that value?

Are you sure there have been no updates at the network level? Router updates? We've seen router security software interfere with only certain devices before.
