Don't think that's it; it works fine with two simultaneous streams but at any rate I have hls-proxy set up as the intermediary and it strictly enforces the connection limit (since I noticed Emby struggles with that). But I did change this setting and no dice; as I think we've seen the problem is it's trying and failing to transcode for this particular TV. Any other ideas welcome, but sounds like maybe this just isn't going to work with this particular Roku TV? I am confused about why the transcode isn't keeping up for this one, if that is the problem based on the logs, when it is transcoding the same stream to basically the same format just fine for the other tv (i.e. it doesn't seem like this is a processing power issue to me).

However for anyone in the future who needs to change it back to C:\ it can be found in the registry at: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders (double-click APPDATA) Microsoft recommends NOT changing this from the default. Thanks again to everyone who offered assistance!

I think updating to force it to be supported will break some devices, and given the quick turnaround to iOS 26.6 it is probably best to wait.

In fact, for searching in external databases, you can use the "originaltitle" as a search key. There is a better chance of a match than searching by the translated name, of which there may be several. [originaltitle] + [release date] => [dbid] => [user preffered language] => localized item info

Ok gotcha Anyway it feels like something a plugin would be able to handle even if it's not implemented in the Emby core? To me it doesn't really matter how it's handled tbh I just wanna save a step of "manual labor"

No, you were right to call it as thumb as that's how Emby refers to it - was just referring to how fanart overlayed with logo is actually called, as a fun fact.

Yes, I know on other platforms (like Kodi) it's referred to as "landscape", but Emby calls it thumb for some reason. I'm not the one making this word up. I'm calling it thumb, backdrop and logo because that's what Emby calls it, rather than landscape, fanart and clearlogo. I know these are the same. The request/suggestion is still the same, generate a thumb/landscape using the backdrop/fanart and logo/clearlogo.

So a more accurate description of the issue is that it's difficult to move items within a playlist using the grab handles available. The UX doesn't really make it clear that it's ready to be dragged, and long pressing on the grab handles doesn't maintain that action either, so you have a very short window to actually grab and move the item around. The OP read more like there were no grab handles at all.

Alright, if that's by design then it is what it is. It's not very intuitive though, is it? The key is entered on the server side. The server has the verified Emby premiere status. Why is that not good enough for the client?

Ah, interesting. It appears that's only an option if recording the whole screen, whereas I always have it set to just record a single app.

It would be great that if i have a library item like a movie of a tv show that Emby can find both backdrops and logo for, but no thumb, it would automatically generate a thumb from the backdrop and the logo. I often make such thumbs myself using photo editing software in case the thumb is missing from all image sources, but it would be even better if that process could be handled automatically.

It's right in the screen record options in android. On my older device I only have audio and show touches but I have more on a newer device.

My app updated to 2.310.2.0 and now my mixed content libraries are only showing folder view, they are missing the "videos/pics/folders" selections. I will attach a couple of pics, the Android app still shows the libraries normally but the windows app is down in folder view and there are no settings that I can find to toggle it back to the way it was.

Well yes, if I had any idea how to do the thing that indicates where my finger is and what it's doing that could have provided a useful video, as this is, but I don't, so all you would have seen is the scrolling. WTF? Who designed this app? That's an insane design choice. Right? It should be the other way around. If I go to scroll but accidentally touch the grab handle, it should just scroll. If I make a whole big deal about how I'm pressing down on the grab handle, it should grab the grab handle. It's completely backwards.

That reads like a display error to me. Don't think it applies to this.

The client app needs to contact Emby to validate your subscription. As well as your server.

well it was like that for the entire movie and i presume this was me trying a dozen or two times to change the quality/do playback correction before i realized that it was playing in 1080p and the playback quality was simply wrong. so likely any one of these would be fine as it was always incorrect.
