Just had the exact same idea as Killface69, especially for the home screen now that it looks so good this may just really kick it into high gear

This actually is very common usually from torrents even news groups for example see the one from DRbanner 9.8KiB if you were to make a mistake not paying attention that's how you get 0KB on a pc. Not hard to get yourself in a pickle this day and age but the bad thing is all your data is now gone maybe try Ubuntu very easy to use most people love Nas for this very reason. Take care!

Your making me want beta now can beta do anything as of now that stable can't do?

I'm pretty sure 2.7.8.0 stops the current process and restarts when scheduled (in the previous version a scheduled start would not stop a running one). It's not a problem per se, but it means I cannot monitor overall progress (incl. failures) as it's always only about 20 episodes in when I check (I have >9000 episodes to do).

But a) So the beta release after the current (4.10.0.31) is nothing to wait for? I havent seen anything about an update to that version, but if you have a changelog and version for it feel free to help a brother out with links. and b) All i want is the latest beta, beacause i choose to run beta...beacause i want to check out new feautures as soon as possible..if all i wanted was this "version number"...i would go with Stable...but Stable doesnt offer the latest features..beacause i know the difference between Beta and Stable...so i run with beta...beacause i want to check out new feautures as soon as possible...witch i cant with Stable.. /N

I can give you some more info, but I suspect you have fixed the functionality of a previous bug that I was leveraging. I suspect this because Movies acted differently to TV Series (TV series works like Movies has changed to). I can spell it out for you like this Previous Version : In 2025, I add a movie /mnt/movies/HD/Space Movie (1977)/Space Movie (1977) - HD.mkv. I also add poster.jpg in the same folder I add another 50 movies or so In 2026, I add a movie /mnt/movies/UHD/Space Movie (1977)/Space Movie (1977) - 4K.mkv (no poster in this folder) Home screen doesn't show 'Space Movie' in Latest Releases as the original 'Space Movie' was added last year and it doesn't think anything has changed Everything works happily, movies are joined as when I got to the play screen, they both show as options I can select from the version dropdown. Current Version : Today after I install 4.10.0.40, recent additions of UHD movies that had an older 'HD' version show in 'Latest <Library>' section on the homepage, and they all have no poster showing. They are just black boxes. If I right click one of these and view metadata, it shows it is the UHD version in the path at the top. If I add a poster to the UHD movie folder and scan files, the poster then appears So it is basically seeing each version in updates where previously it used the original versions metadata on the home page in Latest <Library> Unless this is identified as a bug, I just wrote a bash file which updated the 'dateadded' metadata field to be the same as 'release date'. If you would like a suggestion, it would be handy to allow the user to change the field used in 'Latest Releases' to be 'Release Date'

Just tried my trakt-list, import worked. Probably you know..... but for safety: I started with trakt list and this great plugin a few days ago, first import didn't work. After becoming a vip member on trakt and adding the client ID (settings home screen companion) it worked.

But a) it doesn't include any features that aren't already in the beta so there's nothing to wait for and b) if all you want is the version number, you can just install the stable so there's no need to wait anyway.

In the slideshow, not yet, but you're able to configure the titles to show when browsing the library, right?

hi, how are the options for the section configured? To be honest, I don't really recall this distinction. For several releases now continue watching and next up have been the same thing except that when you activate next up, continue watching will not show the next episodes.
