I was able to get the drive back on. The Activity Monitor shows >90% for Emby, and then the FFMPG transcoding process seems to crap out on one particular show I've been testing, same episode fails every time. I’m not sure how else to explain it. Go to a tv episode or movie. Click the download button. Select the mbps (I always use default 1.5). It says downloading. Never does.

are you trying to login to your own emby server, or someone else's server?

I am having a few other problems at the moment; maybe there is some connection between them all could help here: There are some instances where I get that "No compatible Streams Available", but those STRM files can run fine in VLC. The same show will work one day, but not the next. Sometimes my Emby "Activity" in MacOS Activity Monitor gets as high as 100% & bogs the server down My "Continue Watching" area, which leaves off some shows, works for others, and hangs on to really outdated ones as well. Attached are screenshots from every place I can think of where the "Skip Intros" feature is configured. Thank you for your help.

Pretty simple. When I click download it never does. Never appears. Never downloads. Doesn’t matter if it’s on WiFi or cellular. Always fails. No info provided. Just never shows up.

With update 26.0.11 the user drop down menu when selecting the User icon has been replaced with the Emby exit screen. Prior to this update when selecting the User icon in the upper right it would present a drop down menu containing "App Settings", "Manage Server", "Change Server", "Change User", "Sign Out", "Exit", "Sleep" and "Shutdown". After the update to access the "Settings Menu" the left arrow key needs to be pressed until the fly out menu appears at the left. Also, the User icon is now positioned on the upper left side of the screen. Is all this by design? That may be true, but it has only just recently started to appear for me, and at the same time, downloading for offline viewing now no longer works.

Why? I know they claim that there’ll be a native app but as I explained before, they’d have the first and only actually native third party app on UGOS then. All existing ones are Docker installations in the background. And docker runs like a charm

Sounds like there is a lot of wiggle room between .6 and 30 seconds. A delay of somewhere between 2000 to 3000ms before showing it, while trying to connect, would probably allow most of us who are connected via wire to never see it and still not cause people with a slow connection to panic.

In Pocket Casts, when adding a podcast to your queue it prompts you to select whether to add it to the top or bottom of the list.

When I add an item to my “play next” queue in Pocket Casts, it asks whether I would like to add it to the start of the list, so it will be played next, or the end of the list, so it will be played after everything currently in the list. So if it's a news podcast, I can add it to the top, if it's a new episode from a podcast I'm still working my way through, or catching up on, I can add it to the bottom. I have an Emby playlist I'm using as a Watchlist, and have pinned to the home screen. I add things to it if I feel I want to watch them in the near future. However, sometimes I want to prioritise watching something (for example, I watched Close Encounters and E.T. before going to see Disclosure Day earlier this year), but then I have to either scroll all the way to the end of the watchlist—which has about 50 movies on it at this point—or manually drag the newly-added movie to the top of the playlist after adding it.

In the `Home Screen` settings, I typically disable `Display in secondary home screen sections such as latest media and continue watching` for some libraries. I do this because sometimes I have duplicate copies of a title in another library, and I only want one copy to show up on the Home screen. For example, if I am watching a show in a local library, but I have the same show in a remote/VOD library, I only want the local one on the home screen `Continue Watching` section. This works well. However, for a title that I have favorited, the `favorites` section shows copies from all libraries. I would love it if this "section" would respect the library settings for "secondary display". Or a separate setting for the favorites of that makes more sense.

I created a custom icon set for my Emby server where I pulled greens from the Emby logo & added some blue-ish tints to try tying in with a blue CSS theme. Here's what I ended up with: What's Included GIMP Template Files I made a simple GIMP template containing the following layers: Text options (single row / 2-row text variants) Emby logo Artwork graphics area Shadow layer Background Font used: Cantarell Extra Bold (but feel free to use whatever you like!) How to Create Your Own Icons Download the attached .xcf template file Find graphic artwork images (discs, vintage TVs, tablets, movie clips, etc.) Simple image search on DuckDuckGo (or create your own if you feel up to it) Filter for TRANSPARENT backgrounds Save images you like and drop them into the template Customize as needed I used GIMP to create the template, so I recommend using that.
