Gracias adelantadas. Un abrazo a todos.

I built the Plexamp "Sonic Analysis" experience for Emby — self-hosted. Anyone Interested? Want to test it?
kaj replied to kaj's topic in Third Party Apps
Hey — thanks for digging into that with devtools, the CORS diagnosis was spot on, and disabling web security to confirm it was the smoking gun. Here's what was actually happening: the plugin's config page was calling the coordinator directly from your browser, cross-origin from Emby's own dashboard. That works fine on a simple LAN setup, but breaks the moment Emby's reached through a reverse-proxy domain that's different from the coordinator's own address — some proxy setups don't relay the coordinator's CORS headers through, so the browser blocks the request outright and shows "Service: offline," even though the coordinator itself is completely fine and reachable. Fixed it by routing those calls through Emby itself instead — the config page now hits Emby's own API, and Emby forwards the request to the coordinator server-side. Your browser never talks to the coordinator directly anymore, so the CORS mismatch can't happen regardless of how your reverse-proxy is set up. It's out now in beta.9 (plugin v0.4.5.0) — you'll need to grab the new EmbysonicPlugin_0.4.5.0.zip, swap it in for your existing EmbysonicPlugin.dll, and restart Emby. Full notes/download: https://github.com/liquidguru/emby-sonic/releases/tag/v0.1.0-beta.9 Let me know if it clears up on your end. -
Why is Jellyfin so much more popular than Emby?
arrbee99 replied to Nabukodonosor's topic in Non-Emby General Discussion
Saw some article about the Plex $250 for 5 years thing. First page of comments, Jellyfin mentioned 14 times, Emby.....Zero. -
HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
-
Hi, I don’t think we have this anymore, sorry. That was a beta version. Why do you think you need it?
-
I think ultimately we’d like to be able to save the data back into the file.

Virtual TV - Uninstalling leaves TV Live on the home page.
sergiovassari replied to Mister_U's topic in QNAP
Yes. I have the same problem. The worst part is that there's no option to turn it off from the Home screen. The only way I found to make this disappear was by removing the capability from the user—something that wasn't necessary before the plugin. This plugin definitely messes with something and causes a bug. -
Please send in an up to date stable version to the Tizen store

What version number of the Emby app do you have now? -
Installed the Emby server on my pc, but then used Docker container for Emby.. Ive tried deleting Nightcrawler still says forbidden. I did a factory reset on The UGreen NAS and still forbidden.

*Moved to Plugins forum* Because the plugin was just released at that time by a community member. @Flawkee

Micro-stutters with 25 FPS content on Apple TV Emby app
SultanOfTux replied to SultanOfTux's topic in Apple TV
It has definitely improved, but unfortunately it's still not up to Infuse's standard. I notice less stuttering, but sometimes it's still not smooth. Feel free to let me know if you need more information or a test file. Thank you very much for your efforts. -

Is it for older TVs also? JonKanon's is a 2021 and mine is 2018 -

Pixelsmash Vulnerability in ffmpeg (CVE-2026-8461) - Is Emby vulnerable?
pwhodges replied to CHBMB's topic in General/Windows
You didn't need to - the impact was described near the start of the discussion (and is minimal for Emby, unlike for Jellyfin), as were the steps being taken. Most of the discussion is complaints about how it "should" have been announced - some of the criticism has merit, but the discussion of it has added nothing to understanding the CVE itself. Paul -
Where do you enable real time monitoring ?
-
Enable real time monitoring is all you should need to do. If it's not working there may be a permission error, so you'll have to provide logs.

Guess i can't help my self from sitting at a computer 24/7. The heat wave we have had here in Europe was simply unbearable so my friends and i decided to just not go to the things planned. Luckily the heat wave is over now so i can sit in doors again and relax by doing some "work" until next thing we have planned in a couple of weeks. Bonus is that i avoid any hangovers.

Agree, that would make sense independently from this specific case. @Luke

And of course, a few hours after posting this, he contacted me back. He did see something strange on the client at the time the issue started: The video was blinking between two images all the time. He did restart the emby client, but the blinking was still there. I guess he managed to make the client play two videos at the same time, alternating rapidly between each one. That would be consistent with the first issue I saw (stop/play/stop/play) When I blocked, then deleted his account, it did not fix anything, as he was still sending stop/start events. He just rebooted his computer, logs are quiet now. So, as softworkz said, probably a freak incident, but I would still like to propose to add a feature in the clients to respond adequately to 4XX http codes, and not rapid-fire retry. At least if you get a 401 or 403, you're not welcome, leave my server alone for a while

I have 6 or 7 folders, new videos, old, tv,music etc on local drives
