P.s this specific title is considered a documentary so yeah... themoviedb.org naming would be good. Is this a dream? If I asked this topic on plex MAYBE admin would answer and now battling for 6 weeks I as admin can't share my libraries to my self. So much with passwords, accounts, tokens. I have the life time pass created by old email but ill be dammed if they can just add it to new one 6 weeks. But ill install this this weekend parallel to plex. This would definitely be a useful feature. I have the same problem with a lot of movie franchises where it's easy to miss one sequel unless you manually check TMDb. A built-in "Show Missing Movies" option for collections would save a lot of time. As a workaround, I sometimes use apps like Castle HD App to keep track of what I've watched and what I'm planning to watch, but it would still be much better if the media server itself could automatically highlight missing titles in a collection.

We don't "conflate" them. We just only support different qualities at this time. Different editions is on our list for the future.

The issue is that Emby conflates two different ideas of "versions". What's needed is to properly separate those concepts and handle them differently. As a user when I think of "versions of a film" it's different cuts, different content. Examples would be a director's cut and a theatrical cut. In some cases the differences are drastic and even have different titles - Paroxismus (1969) is a good example of this, and there are quite a few more in my collection where Emby's interference is unwelcome. Different versions should be chosen based only on user interaction, and should be "sticky" in the way OP suggests. What Emby thinks of as "versions" and tries to automate, is not so much about different versions but different formats. For example, I can transcode a 1080p film to 720p and then it's entirely reasonable to automatically select which format to play based on the device capabilities - and it should do so only within the same version of the film.

You can do it on the Emby for Android TV app by going to all episodes of a series then clicking to hide played and hitting shuffle, but you can't do it on the Emby for android app. This is the main reason I still use the android tv app over the normal android app.

As far as I know, Ombi is still actively developed. I checked their github page, and they're still releasing updates. I do agree that most developers prefer Seerr these days, because of ease of use and frequent updates but Ombi has been working just fine for me. Well, I'll try to support both if possible. That said, this plugin isn't my main focus right now, so it probably won't be ready anytime soon.

Do you mean same distributer or same drive manufacture? What about the bad batch problem? When sourcing you drives from 1 vendor and buying them all at once. You might end up with the same batch, of bad drives.
