Hollis, I understand. Perhaps your choice of the phrase "regular user" is not a complete way of explaining who might like to use this customized text option. There are perhaps 98% of users that might be described as "regular", but there could be only 1 user in 5000 who actually wants to remove the text under the library names. Adding any more complexity to software runs the risk of loosing popularity from users who get lost and cannot understand all the options. Software has a history of failing for exactly this issue. This has to be weighed in, before adding new features. As I mentioned, there is a way to remove the titles on the web app. I understand you don't prefer to do it that way. Does anyone else want to remove the titles and is not interested in doing it with custom css? Do users from the other versions want to remove library titles? Maybe anyone who wants either feature can post here so we can see who actually wants the feature. Add an agree +1 or like, if you think the an admin or user switch box feature to remove library titles is NOT needed. Use a disagree -1 if you would like to use such a feature. Knowing who might like to use it, is really good info so the developers can create features that people would like to use. Maybe a lot of people would use it. I just can't get that from just writing a "regular user' might like it. No offense intended.

Hello Luke, This is related to telling Alexa next song. If one song has been playing for about more than 10 minutes, and you tell it next song, it will not go to the next track. The other I issue I mentioned above happens randomly when you tell Alexa next song and it begins playing in a different echo group than the one it was originally playing on. The only way to get it to start playing from the correct echo group again is to tell it to play from Amazon music and then switch back to the Emby for the playlist. This happened to me on Saturday morning. Thank you for the support

I recently found that my long running MacOS Emby Server randomly went back to the start up Wizard. I have it scheduled to restart every Monday, after the restart it was back at the start up wizard like I just installed it. I luckily had a backup that i was able to restore from. I just wanted to make it known that this is an issue you can run into.

Configurable as in what? CW row - either default or custom - still gets Series thumb if "Thumb" image type selected (and stable has no configurable Home Screen rows anyway).

Any update on this? It has been some time and I am still seeing the same thing happening for me. For a while, it would only do this to DVDs, but I'm noticing it on Blu-rays as well. Happy to help if there's anything needed.

I don't remember the exact timing but a long time ago. Certainly more than a few years that we have not shown watched marks on Series. Here is a post from 2021 that references the behavior as already being that way for a long time: Some manufacturers have changed exactly how a long-press works and this one is not sending in the same way it used to.

Ist bei mir genauso eingestellt. Ich sag ja, das läuft bei mir schon Ewig, die Sammlung ist rießig und bis vor kurzem hat das alles sauber funktioniert. Das einzige was ich regelmäßig mache, ist die neue Beta einzuspielen. Bei einem dieser Updates, ist der Haken in den Einstellungen der Sammlungen wohl deaktiviert worden.

Well, this simply is not true. I didn't even use Emby 10 years ago, I started using it maybe 3-4 years ago. Also, I remember this feature because I was using it constantly last year. So.... Nope. A new remote and box. And as I said, the same thing works in the regular app. Soo...the button works just fine. I am. If not the last then the previous version. And on both the firetv and android tv, this feature is missing. So, again, wrong. It's not on my end.

H there, I always like seeing how other people modify their Emby because it gives me new ideas that I hadn't thought of myself! Chnanging the Home Page menu header tabs, text to icons, is an interesting idea: So, I tried it for myself, adding a few more options to the Home Page and then changing the text to icons: Standard Home Page header tabs: Extended Home Page header tabs - text: Extended Home Page header tabs - icons: This opens up some interesting possibilites for adding more standard tabs, and potentially custom tabs. (e.g.) Collections tab added to the music menu. As Emby is implementing custom/selectable tabs (I think?) then perhaps an option to use icons instead of text could be useful? A combination of text and icons and even color-coding (similar to what you have) could also potentially work for my setup. I'm going to experiment with this more across all my libraries... Hi. TV Series (and all "containers") stopped showing a watched mark probably close to 10 years ago. This is because they show an unwatched count so, if we also showed a watched check, every single one of them would have a green circle in that same spot which would be harder to decipher at a glance. This must be an issue with that remote. It isn't sending a long-press when you hold down the button. Make sure you are running the most up to date version of the app.

Hey guys. A few questions about the AndroidTV app. I remember before there was a checkmark on watched movies/tv shows. Now it's gone. There's nothing there. Actually, I've just checked, it's the same thing on the regular Android app. Why did you remove that feature, I really liked it? See my screenshot, for example After life tv show. And the second thing. I have in one room Xiaomi TV box 3rd gen. How do I get that popup menu (2nd screenshot)? This was taken on my Firestick and its remote has a hamburger button so I can get this menu. Tried holding the OK button on my Xiaomi remote, didn't work. Holding the same button in the regular app works. 3rd question. In the same menu, on Android TV app lacks the option "Remove from Continue watching". Again, the same question, why did you remove it? Are you guys trying to make people switch to the regular app by cutting down on features on the TV app? I mean, honestly, the regular app sucks.
