I've been using Emby for at nearly 10 years and one day I woke up to install .NET so after 4 weeks of trying to find the solution, I've thought I downloaded it but it still wasn't working. Since then I've switched to Plex and its working great but I'd rather use Emby. I've tried uninstalling and starting from scratch but it won't let me do that as it shows " Cannot Find file" and wouldn't let me uninstall. Does anyone have the solution, I'm using a Dell PC Inspiron 3020 with 13th generation Intel I5-13400

Since you're on the beta server I would start up updating to the latest build and then providing a new log file example. thanks.

Just use the plugin catalog and it will only show you plugins that are compatible.

This is handled automatically with plugins that are installed from the emby plugin catalog.

Sorry, when I was building TV Show Status, I just realized after looking at your log file that it only works with 4.10.0.17.beta. I will build a universal version; I'm working on it right now. Once again, I'm sorry. Unfortunately, this is my first plugin, and it is a learning curve

Yes but you audiobook can also have mp3tag's.

No. As previously posted, "Audio Books" contains no music files. None. All music on my Synology device is contained in the "music" folder which (as seen in the screenshot) was not added as a target folder when setting up the library.

yes apologies user error. you must clear the field then hit the arrows icon to change the file, dont know why that wasnt obvious to me.

I've played around with it, and the file has UTF subtitles embedded and it respects the subtitle display options I selected in the app Subtitle display settings and resulting picture I'll DM you the MediaInfo stats in case you want that info as well.

If I'm not mistaken, Emby's metadata providers only work with content that's already in your library. With Radarr/Sonarr, I can track titles I'm interested in — including things I don't own yet. This container simply reads that calendar and displays it as a "Coming Soon" shelf, so I know what's dropping soon without having to check Radarr/Sonarr separately.

I bought mine when it was about $70.00 many many years ago and it still works fine. I use PLEX for my family members b/c this is what I started with and changing them when all they do is watch movies is not worth the hassle. I use emby for myself and those that I let use my live tv service.

Hi guys, After months suffering the 4.9 version consuming all my PR4100 resources and crashing the server twice per day and even completely frozen the entire NAS every 2 days, I've decided to install and re-deploy Version 4.7.14.0 into another PR4100 I have and rebuild everything from the scratch. As you can see the difference on resource consumption is enormeous: 4.7 during a library scan (PR4100 NASFRIDGE) 4.9 while doing NOTHING (PR4100 NASFLIX) Both are using the same libraries, same folders, etc. So the only difference is the Emby Version and the PR4100 Hardware that is exactly the same on both. My issue comes when I want to deploy Emby plugins, even is possible to deploy any previous version none of them indicates the compatibility with server version. I would like to know if there's a list of emby server version - plugin version so I can deploy the correct versions. As well I would like to know if there's any option on 4.7 that I can use to avoid plugins being updated. Thanks in advance.

@gillmacca01 Thanks, but I think this was dircted at @uvmonger. You have described your problem very well already and there's an update ready (yet not published) which allows to configure the currently-hardcoded connection timeout of 30s.

I have cinema picture mode which activates ai up scaling not filmmaker. OLED65G51LW dlna via native media app ai scaling works GREAT. Dlna is from emby. But when watching video via native media app from lg tv when i try to skip 15 sec or to any time in bar progress the video crashes. I even used lg tv profile on emby dlna settings. I was hoping to use emby app from web os lg tv but with emby app ai upscaling doesnt work

Can you post or PM a photo showing this screen? It might give some clues as it sounds like it isn't specifically the subtitles that are the issue.
