Hello, I've extended this Simkl plugin (which was limited to "watched at X%" scrobbling) so it offers roughly the same features as the Trakt for Emby plugin. Added: - Real-time scrobbling: start / pause / stop - Resume points synced (Simkl ↔ Emby) - Manual watched / unwatched toggle pushed to Simkl - Scheduled tasks: "Sync library to Simkl" (export) and "Import playstates from Simkl" (import: watched status, dates, resume points) - Ratings sync (movies and shows), add to "Plan to watch" - Multi-user + per-user excluded folders, PIN login Good to know: Trakt's "collection" (no Simkl equivalent) is ignored, and the export never deletes history on Simkl (safety). Compatible with Emby 4.7+ (tested on 4.10), API key bundled in (no developer app to create). Installation: put Simkl.dll in the plugins folder, restart, then Plugins → Simkl TV Tracker → Settings → Log In (PIN). It often happens that when I start playing music via Emby, I can hear it clearly in my vehicle, yet Android Auto reports a problem with Emby. Consequently, I cannot control the music using the steering wheel controls or the car's display. It is worth noting that I also tested this with other applications like Spotify and Wavio and did not encounter the issue, whereas Emby appears disconnected.

Sort Program By I have random series and random episodes when TV Shows Further down you see Rules select the folders that have your media for your tv channel Then set any specific requirements for virtual tv to select media Example - In one channel I have a Classic BBC 1 channel, so I put in Studios (BBC One) this searches all TV shows with a studio of BBC One and adds them to the channel. then you should be able to click save and close. I then click Force Refresh Guide Data and wait. Depending on your server specs as to how long this might take.

It’s amazing how far low-power hardware has come. An N100 system using only a few watts from the CPU can still handle a respectable amount of media transcoding. For a home server or NAS, that seems like a really practical sweet spot.

Nope. Almost all of emby uses /emby. The web uses /web. So you allow those (and a few other things I have documented here in the past), and you have a secure from bots system.

Voici un bug que je remonte du lecteur EMBY sur Windows, pas la version web et uniquement sur quelques films (sans que je vois de rapport en eux) EMBY lit sans problème les films quand il n'y a pas de transcodage. Par contre, sur certains films, dès qu'il faut du transcodage, il n'y a plus d'image. Je peux transcoder pendant la lecture du films, aucun soucis. Par contre, si j'arrête la lecture, dès que je lance à nouveau le film, je n'ai plus que le son. En plus je ne vois rien sur le tableau de bord qu'une lecture est en cours. Si je fais en sorte de ne plus avoir à transcode, tout revient dans l'ordre Ce soucis est uniquement visible sur la version windows, pas de problème sur la version Android ou web. Hello: Emby on Ubuntu 26.10 Each time emby server is updated, my collections will no more hold together. I have to almost start all over, grouping my mkv. Is there anyway to prevent this from occuring ? thanks. George Omoregie.

We release new usb builds fairly frequently and it takes a long time to get updates through the store review process.

I can't believe that you check every single item and check that every piece of related metadata is there, especially when some of it is not even available online. If it was a security risk, then Luke would have said so 4.5 years ago, but here we are. Enough said, let's wait for Luke.

I have a lot of users and no I do not have missing metadata because I as the owner manage and update it. I do check every item in my library as that is my job, I have a VERY large library. I know what you asking looks to be trivial to you, but to other people they can see how this could cause a major issue, security is based on least privileged access and what you are asking is to give a user more access than what is really required, I do understand your point but to the majority it is not something we whish to allow.

Do you have an adblocker extension in the browser perhaps?

Perhaps you don't have any users, or they are happy with missing metadata. Do you check every single item that is added to Emby to make sure all of the metadata is available, or do you see missing metadata when you're about to watch something and then refresh the item to have it added? That's all I am asking for, not the crown jewels! If it's not going to be added, then perhaps @Lukecan confirm this, then this will all be put to bed. I'm fed up answering comments from people not wanting the option. It's not a security risk, it's not affecting any metadata already there, it's just filling in missing metadata

Thanks for retesting. You can also test the backbutton in tabbed view again. At least in the web app, it might be fixed.
