Unfortunately Emby does not provide a graphical skip button in the way TIDB needs them or way to edit the UI to add one without extra modifications. While Emby does have a skip intro button on some interfaces, it only supports some segment types, specific timings, etc. that aren’t able to be interfaced with TIDB’s data. I know this is a pretty requested feature though, so I’ll look into some improvements.

Hello, I have three Emby servers, and all three have exactly the same configuration. However, on one of the servers, some movie posters are not loading automatically, while the other two servers load them correctly without any issues. The movies themselves are detected correctly, but for some reason, the artwork/posters are missing on this particular server. I have to manually upload the posters one by one, which is very time-consuming. Since the other two servers with the same configuration are working normally, I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. Is there any way to troubleshoot or fix this so Emby automatically downloads the missing movie posters? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@LukeSomething changed that may be related to how TOS 7 is processing the install as this is the SAME error I reported to you on the previous 4.9.x builds. IMO, Emby should not pass over this as a TM problem, but work together with TM to find out WHY this is happening. edit - Until that happens, it seems Emby users on the TM platform are going to be frustrated and left in limbo as both the install and hardware transcoding are broken.

If you're in my theater room in order to log into the Shield, you can just as readily log in to the UGOOS directly . It just takes an appalling number of button clicks and deep knowledge of the menus, plus waiting for it to reboot.

On XBOX Series X, the Emby app ignores subtitle preferences for external (srt) subtitles. The text is large, white, and black background. People forget DV is proprietary and any work on it without the proper licensing is against copyright. Emby is legally limited to what ffmpeg can do. Projects like Jellyfin can skirt the law as there are far too many developers for them to go after. You are honestly better off to convert the files yourself with the tools that are available, or source the proper files, or tell your friends family to buy the right freaking hardware, which for DV profile 5 it's not really feasible so we're back to steps 1 and 2.

I pulled back 1.0.10.0 since Claude was treating it as a "bugfix" release. I re-released it as 1.1.0, since it's really a feature update. Hi. The Roku app does not currently have a context menu but have you tried just hitting the play button on the remote?

Do you have "Remember subtitle track selections" enabled in that same config screen?

There would be a security implication by what he suggested because it would open an attack vector that isn't currently there.

@LukeSame issue here... The suggested workorund -programdata $APP_DATA_DIR/ with -programdata /Volume1/Emby \ did the trick, but it's strange how this can happen with an app from the store. I hope a fix will be out very soon.

Like the title says, if the app is suspended (example: paused for long enough for TV screensaver to start) during playback or on the show episode selection screen, the subtitle defaults back to none. The subtitles were previously manually set. Subtitles are set to smart, no language is set for the audio channel. Pretty sure this is not the expected behavior, my expectation is that if I manually select a subtitle, it stays set until I change it. I am in a folder with a bunch of random stuff in it How do I select an item and do "play all from here" On other apps I can use the 3 dot menu or similar, but I don't see any way on the Roku. Selecting the item and hitting * just takes me to some display settings. I don't use the Roku very often so forgive my ignorance. Thanks...
