One of the best things about the Emby community is the creativity that comes from it. Every so often, one of our users takes their love for media servers to the next level and builds something that makes life easier for the rest of us.

Restructured Live TV Database
The live TV database has been significantly improved, making it faster for our apps to retrieve guide information. In addition, the server is longer dependent on startup execution of the Guide refresh scheduled task, which will allow you to get into Live TV immediately after startup.

A small update to the previous release has gone out. This one will start as a beta and hopefully move along to stable by the end of the week. There is one important fix and a few new improvements.

Improved Chrome Tran
We're pleased to announce the next version of Media Browser for Windows 8.1
To match the new features of the server, the app now supports Media Browser Connect, and with that, multiple servers.
We've also added support for automatic Camera Upload, hidden accounts, a number of bug fixes, interface, and playback improvements.
Camera Upload:
This feature is enabled from the server, in the device section. Once enabled, the app will upload pictures from the device to your library

Finally!! I'm very pleased to announce that the Android MediaBrowser client now supports Chromecast. Everyone who has a device running Google Play Services 4.2 should see it in the coming days.
Chromecast will behave like it does in most other clients. Select a route using the route selector and then the play actions will play on the selected Chromecast device.
