A new version of our Apple TV app is rolling out now. Your device should upgrade automatically. This version cleans up a few things and lays the groundwork for the next release which should have some long-awaited improvements. In this release:

We have switched from opensubtitles.org to the newer opensubtitles.com
This means you will need to create an account on opensubtitles.com and configure that in Emby Server settings. Until you do that, you won't get any subtitle downloads.

Installation
To setup LDAP, simply install the LDAP plugin from the Emby plugin catalog. This feature requires an active Emby Premiere subscription.
Then head over to your LDAP plugin configuration and setup the plugin to connect to your LDAP server:

Automatic Refresh Rate Switching
The Android TV app now (as of version 1.2.11g) supports automatic refresh rate switching on supported devices. This requires Android 6.0+ and a display that supports the target refresh rate. The app will now automatically adjust your panel's refresh rate to a frequency that better matches the video being played if possible. This requires no special setup but can be disabled with an option in the settings page if desired.
