Speech Training is still very important for Media Browser Kinect.
I have attempted to write the application to need no speech training, however the Speech recognizer could not handle
the number of commands it takes to run Media Browser. So we'll stick with the current one.

Finally!! I'm very pleased to announce that the Android MediaBrowser client now supports Chromecast. Everyone who has a device running Google Play Services 4.2 should see it in the coming days.
Chromecast will behave like it does in most other clients. Select a route using the route selector and then the play actions will play on the selected Chromecast device.

A new version of XBMB3C has been released and is available in the XBMC repo!
As usual, lots of exciting changes:
- Added remote control from other clients (null_pointer)
- Added trailer support (im85288)
- Added Couch Potato trailer integration (im85288)
- Updated to support server security update (xnappo)
- Server path substitution support (im85288)
- Added premier date and airtime to Upcoming TV (im85288)
- Added in-progres
This is a big one, and it's all about giving you finely grained control of what your server is doing. Let's get to the changes:
First, the warning:
This release will re-scan your library. Please be patient. Also review your user library sharing because you may need to reconfigure some of them.
Finely grained control over metadata settings. Choose where your metadata comes from, prioritize internet fetchers, and choose what formats your metadata gets saved to.
Local metadata is king.
It has been a while since the iOS client release and thanks to you all your support, it has been a great success. In the last few weeks, I have been working on updating some the client to fix some critical bugs and add highly requested features including a new custom player with seek, playback mode (Direct Stream, Stream Copy etc), higher bit rate support, global search, etc. The update will also see some UI enhancements and huge performance improvements in the app loading times.
The update
Another reminder that, before you update to the next beta server release, you must update MBC to version 3.0.129 or greater.
If you neglect to do this, you will not be able to enter MBC after the server update. MBC will produce an "Invalid Password" error upon entry. If you end up in this situation, either re-install from the web site or update via the Configurator.

MB Classic Version 127 has been released to beta. This version includes several small fixes and tweaks to both the core and the default Chocolate theme but the biggest new feature, by far, is the ability to now manage your connection information and all plug-ins within MBC itself.
Administrative-level users will now have both a Plug-ins and Advanced tab in configuration. The configurator should now only be needed for external player setup.

MB Classic Version 3.0.117.0 has been released as Beta. The two major features included in this release are:
The Chocolate Theme has become the new default face of MB Classic. It will be installed and selected automatically for any new installations. Current installations will not be modified (although Chocolate will still be installed). The old default theme has been re-named to "Classic" and can still be selected via the config page.
