Windows 8.1 app gets another update

New release, v1.5.1   Glad to announce that today we've released a new version of the Windows 8.1 app. This time it’s mostly about playback and minimizing the the server cpu usage. Thanks to changes made in the server on the latest release combined with changes in the app we can now play mp4’s and avi’s directly without the need to transcode nor remux if the codecs are supported natively. Windows 8.1 App 1.9.0 released

We are happy to announce that a new version of the Windows Store app is now available for download.   So what is new in this version?   First off: The "Resume" and "Resume On" funtionality has changed. Media Browser for Win8.1 app updated to v.2.1.1

Windows 8.1 store app Version 2.1.1 has been released.   Once again the Win8.1 app gets a refreshing update, this time it's a couple of new features, usch as support for Photos and Movie specials, but also a lot of "under the hood" changes with improved playback and security amongst others.   The new features are.   Support for user -views. One Year of Developing XBMB3C

One year ago, I sent Luke a PM asking him to look into a Media Browser add-on for Xbmc.   I really didn't know Luke at the time - otherwise I would have known that he would push me to do it myself. Media Browser for Chromecast updated

A small update has been pushed to our Chromecast receiver to improve MP4 playback. MP4 video with AC3 audio will now direct stream.   Please note you'll need to reboot your receiver device in order to see the changes. Enjoy, and look for iOS to take advantage of the new Chromecast receiver soon.
