Michael K. 24
I removed media from a library directory and then refreshed the library, but the library still displays the media. I then removed the entire library from emby, performed a refresh, then created a new library which points to the same path without any media in it, but the library still displays the old media. I'm having this issue with a music library. I have not tested with videos/movies. Has anyone else experienced this issue in the latest two releases of emby for Windows? Solution Michael K. 24 Posted August 30, 2016 Author Solution Share Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) I was able to resolve this by manually running the Clean Database task. This can be found under Manage Server --> Expert --> Scheduled Tasks --> Library --> Clean Database. Edited August 30, 2016 by Michael K.
Luke 37063
What was it displaying and where?
Michael K. 24
What was it displaying... ? It was displaying all media metadata and pictures for music albums and artists that had been removed. ...and where? The media was still showing in a Music library under all of the sorting options (suggestions, albums, album artists, etc.) Edited August 30, 2016 by Michael K. Luke 37063
You might have just needed to refresh the page.
Michael K. 24
You might have just needed to refresh the page. At first I thought it could be that, so I refreshed the page and also tried clearing the browser cache, but that didn't work. The only thing I found to work was running the Clean Database task.
