dolomats 0
Hello. The login page of Emby is enough secured against brute force or spams i dont need a captcha or some plugins to secure it ? Thanks
Solution anderbytes 139 Posted July 21, 2016 Solution Share Posted July 21, 2016 Having SSL activated (and HTTP port blocked), a good webserver in the back (I believe Emby has), and a strong user password (your call) is probably enough security.
fc7 123
At least a captcha after 3 failed logins would be a nice addition. Already requested this feature in the past but I understand that it may not be that relevant for many other people. anderbytes 139
I guess that creating a 30second-delay after the 3rd error would already block brute force attacks. After correct logon or like 10 minutes... the delay could be removed again, restarting the process.
