Internal player with MadVR playback problems

Hi All 

 

On the latest builds (and every previous build for that matter), when using the internal player with MadVR I get either:

 

a) really sluggish video playback (audio plays fine but video is extremely slow and drops 100's of of frames)

or

a black screen but audio plays fine

 

on build 2.2.5 I get the sluggish playback, on the last few builds before it I got the blanc screen, sometimes I get the slugish playback once and then on every other attempt I get the black screen.

 

My system is Win 7 x64 with a Radeon 7850 card and Catalyst 14.12 drivers. MadVR and all DirectShow filters work fine with other Directshow players such as MPC-HC or MPC-BE.

 

Can anyone help? Any advice will be appreciated.
