riffy 32
Was wondering if support for home videos was anywhere near or still just "soon". I have a few folders that are stuff that the server can't figure out what they are & never will. It is constantly trying to update them causing the screen to flicker a lot when browsing them & the "compressing database" little lock ups, & it's starting to get on my nerves now. :-)
Angelblue05 4130
Yes it's coming. As soon as we fix the minor bugs, it's first on the list.
gmacman 3
Is there any clever workaround to add home videos? Maybe add them to movies or something and just get them to show up as "unknown1, unknown2"?
Angelblue05 4130
You can change the type to movies for now. However, a massive update to beta is coming soon, with a lot of goodies (which include home videos support). I just switched to stable because the wife is sick of kodi asking her about database versions (not exactly how she worded it....) and it sounds like I may need to switch one install back to beta to play with this..... Looking forward to home video support.
Angelblue05 4130
If the message say the database is out of date, then this means she'd need to do a reset to clean up the message? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah... which seems so simple to those of us who set this up (or those of you who develop!) LOL. It was mainly around the time that you were starting to log which plugin version the last sync was completed in, and the updates that required a database reset. The whole family is getting better, just not quite confident enough to know when to click yes or no during a dialog pop up...
