ABNParatrooper 6
Looking for some guidance on configuring the resume feature for my movies. Basically movies that I have watched in its entirety are still showing on the resume page. Maybe some tips on the different options for the resume time settings might help. I have even manually right click some movies and set it to "Watched", the green check mark appears, but it still showing the resume page. Maybe a more clear /layman terms on what the settings do/mean. Here are my current resume settings: Edited November 27, 2015 by abnranger67

ABNParatrooper 6
The thing is with the current settings (that I thought was sufficient), I am still getting a lot of movies showing up on the resume page when they shouldn't. I figure maybe I am tweaking the settings wrong, hence my post. I am hoping maybe some tips on how to set it so that movies I have watched fully or watched a few minutes but thought was not worth watching any further, would not show up. Redshirt 1487
What client(s) are you using for playback. The server settings are only half the picture. The client has to properly report the current position for these settings to work.
ABNParatrooper 6
I am using the web client as well as Roku, however, I am only looking while on the web client. Oddly, there are movies showing up that I had watched while on MBT. Do they monitor differently, meaning that movies watched while on MBT can be considered as either unwatched or considered resumable by other clients? If that is the case, I can accept that, but this is also happening to movies watched via the web client and or Roku.
Luke 37062
using the above settings a movie will be considered fully watched if you stop at 10% or greater. it only applies to movies you watch after changing the setting though.
ABNParatrooper 6
Oh dang, guess I am pretty much stuck with the ones watched prior to that setting. Well at least I know what to expect moving forward, thanks for the quick responses.
Olywa123 46
If by stuck with them you mean they will always be showing on the resume page - please try this - I think if you play them (from the beginning, not resume them) for literally just a couple of seconds and then stop them, they will fall under your 5% "assume unplayed" and disappear again. ABNParatrooper 6
Oh good suggestion, thanks. But I think I will live with it as is, too many to "replay" For now I will just hide the resume page.
Vidman 589
To clear resume points for items click the "watched " check mark 3x so mark as watched then unwatched to clear the resume point then again to mark it as watched Note you will then have to refresh the page in your browser to see the change Edited November 28, 2015 by Vidman
