scottd34 3
I have some older kids shows that are recording, and somewhere along the line there is some bad data that is causing the episodes to get renamed incorrectly.. The Guide will give an episode number and title, thetvdb.com has a different episode number but the same title. It appears from my testing that only the episode number is used for a match and it will change the title to whatever thetvdb has. I have a few examples below. I attempted to remove the episode number from the filename of the recording and try to have it match based on the correct title, but it did not match at all. 10/6/2015 Dinosaur Train S01E24 Erma Eoraptor; Under the Volcano.ts /mnt/user/Movies/Tv/Dinosaur Train/Season 1/Dinosaur Train - s01 - T. Rex Migration.ts 10/6/2015 Thomas & Friends S10E03 Just Be Yourself.ts /mnt/user/Movies/Tv/Thomas & Friends/Season 10/Thomas & Friends - s10 - Thomas & The Jet Plane.ts 10/6/2015 Sid the Science Kid S02E12 Reused Robot!.ts /mnt/user/Movies/Tv/Sid the Science Kid/Season 2/Sid the Science Kid - s02 - Shadow Smile!.ts Is it possible to either: A) Add in a feature that lets the user set a default that in the event of a conflict, that the episode title wins, episode number wins or always ask? Allow for matching by episode title AND number. I noticed that many of the newer seasons of the kids shows seem to be ok, but the older ones are a bit off in thetvdb. For one show, Super Why, IMDB and Thetvdb both matched with the same episode numbers, but the guide data was off by as much as 20 episode numbers.
