manicjonah 1
Auto Organize fails on every show that I have recorded. It doesn't recognize the names of any show. Is there a particular naming convention for WMC Recorded TV that Emby does recognize? Is it possible to update Emby to read the WTV metadata to recognize a show instead of the show's name in the file system? I REALLY want a feature like this to work but unless Auto Organize can recognize WMC Recorded TV names AND create folders to move them to in the organization process it's not much help to me. Are these things on the list? Can the be? Thanks, MJ
Kent 91
From what I understand, every show you record that you want auto-organized has to have a pre-defined series folder already scanned into Emby and available in the Emby metadata manager. The Auto Organize function simply matches the recorded show to a series already in the library, and then moves it into the library destinations season folder. Deihmos 147
I am not understanding how this is suppose to work. WMC recording name is The Flash_WPIX11.1_2015_10_06_20_00_00.wtv so how is emby suppose to recognize that? It fails for me with the error Unable to find series in library matching name The Flash_WPIX11.1. I have a library with the name The Flash Edited October 9, 2015 by Deihmos
AgileHumor 123
AutoOrganize in Emby is pretty basic and will only accept SXXEXX or other Series/Episode formats. Also, AutoOrganize doesn't recognize date based series (i.e. 2015-09-14), even though it will in a library scan. If it did, I'd recommend MCEBuddy by itself. Instead, I have a third program....Media Center Master...and it's download parser which is very good.
