Beta server 3.0.5713.x transcoding when it hasn't previously

I've been running the latest server betas through their paces over the last few days and noticed an occasional pause/stutter when viewing a video in the web client (Firefox 40.0). Checked the dashboard and discovered the video was transcoding, although none ever had before.

 

Reverted to 3.0.5675.1 for a sanity check & sure enough, the video direct streamed. Based on the transcode logs piling up, this has been happening since the current beta cycle began.

 

Although the server logs don't appear to offer much, I've attached them along with a transcode log & some screen captures. I should also note that this video (.mp4) is just an example. Video playback should be the last event in each server log.

 

EDIT: Both server & web client are on the same Win7 x64 PC.

 

All of my .mkv movies & videos are doing the same.

 

Has anyone else noticed this?
