greenhouse 2
My movies stutter as if they are streaming. The movies are on a server running Server 2008 and I'm playing them on a computer with the new media browser & Windows 7. The drive, F:\ drive named Movies, is setup in Emby Server media library in the following way: \\HTPCServer\Movies. I have tried path substitution, using F:\ in the media library and F:\ to \\HTPCServer\Movies in path substituion tab, and have the same problem. I can play my movies with no problems using WMC or media player on the Windows 7 computer accessing the F:\ drive as a network drive. I didn't have any problems with the old media browser, it wasn't until I updated to Emby Server and the new media browser that I have this playback issue. I'm starting to think it may be a hardware issue. Can someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.
greenhouse 2
Don't bother answering. I rebooted my computer and it works intermittently now. Must be a hardware issue.
ebr 14939
Need to see an MBC log but it sure sounds like either the path substitution isn't setup properly or a permissions issue.
