What did this update do?

after this update i cant add folders... every time i enter a network path (correct as i copy pasted it in Windows explorer) it pops up the validation to enter a path

Hi, just tested this, no problem found. It has nothing to do with the update. You will only see that message if the server is unable to access that location. Your experience in windows explorer could be different if the server process is running under a different windows user account.

this has nothing to do with this updata i guess. I started the service and the dashboard lost connectivity to the NAS. I guess i have to stop the service, then restart the server and get in the dashboard to make the changes. Then reverse all to start the service only. i dont know if the service will work  but thats another topic 

Since one of these updates (this not because I'm still in v. 3.0.5781.2) at least two things stopped working me:

• Emby no more tells me about updates. I read them in the 'Latest news' feed, but emby always says "Emby Server is up to date"
• Can't add DLNA custom profiles. When adding the Identification Http Headers it redirects the page saving nothing.

Anyone else has this issues?

Installed this on a fresh windows 10 PC, set up HDHR and SD - I don't have any schedule data for today. My schedule data starts from tomorrow (Wednesday).

 

Also the Movie Suggestions and More view still show the crappy SD images for movies. I have "Download internet metadata for TV Movies" checked.

 Just updated.  Refreshed the Home page and immediately saw a change in the Home Page views for the Resume and Latest Media sections.  The individual images for that content are stretched to a longer aspect ratio now (as if for backdrops).  They show up correctly in the Library folder Suggestion views, though.

 

I've confirmed this in the iOS app, as well as the web client.

As of the new update, several of my favorite movies won't play. Furthermore, when I select them, my entire Roku box freezes up. Nice work, Emby. WTH?

As of the new update, several of (random selection) movies won't play. Furthermore, when I select them, my entire Roku box freezes up. This happens on both Roku 3 and Roku 4, however, Roku 2 does not seem to have this problem so far.
