I've been running MBC for a little while now, to organize my emulators. I had everything configured, and working pretty good until the update on 4/13. The games for several of my systems disappeared. They are still on my hard drive, and even show up in server's library view, just not in MBC. I know that the folder structures, and file paths are correct, because they had been working.

example:

c/program files/emulators/nestopia

d/media/games/NES/Contra

after uninstalling, and reinstalling several times, I got back the Saturn, PSX, PS2, and SNES, but just cant get NES to work again. a side note, after unstalling, reinstalls showed up with my original settings, like I had never uninstalled.

When I try to start my NES emulator, it stops MBC, and returns me back to WMC's start menu. My roms are in .NES format (1942.nes) I'm wondering if there is an issue that GB does not recognize these as ROM files. Has anyone else had an issue since the update?

 Thanks

I did miss that thread somehow. I really don't know what was going on. I must have checked and rechecked the settings 4 or 5 times, and everything looked okay. After removing all traces of the server, and MBC, and reinstalling a third time, everything works fine. Of course, I had to put my library back into the server, but MBC even saved my settings somewhere, so that after reinstall, I didn't even have to point it to the emulators. I don't know what happened, but it's working now, lol

I'm not sure either but if someone figures it out, please post it.  I'm not aware of anything in the recent update that should have affected any plug-in configurations.

I just figured out what is causing it, and it's not game browser, per se. I'm using another program to download meta-tags, called bamebrowser-meta. Every time I save meta files to a game, that entire system's directory disappears until I reinstall. Just had the problem with a new game, so I tested my theory on an older directory, and viola. Problem solved.
