Gohlas 12
Hei! I just got one Xbox one X and installed the emby app but I am having a problem with the subtitles. In every movie I select subtitle (SRT format, didn't tried with any other type), it is getting a black box behind the subtitles, both direct play and trascoding. Could not find anything in the configuration, tried to reboot the server and reinstall the app on xbox with no luck. Also tried to run on windows beta server 4.2.0.7 (normally I run on Synology stable 4.1.1.0) and same result. So it seems a problem with the xbox X client. I used to have the Xbox one S and FAT and in both was working with no problem. I have attached the log file and a picture with the problem on the subtitle. Hope someone can help. FrostByte 5041
No, I just just direct played an episode of GoT with forced srt subtitles and the subtitle backgrounds were fully transparent. Used both my XB1 and my XB1X with same result. Running server beta 4205 Edited May 26, 2019 by FrostByte
Gohlas 12
This is strange, I have tried to use some different types of subs but the only one that works without transcoding is srt. When I used ASS, then it was transcoded and burned on the video, this worked fine but transcoding and burning subtitles does not worked nicely on my synology. So this is not an option for me. Hei @@Luke any other idea on what can I be testing?
