Emby for Media Center- folder view acting weird

I'm running Ember Server Version 4.1.1.0 on Windows 7 64. I have my two Movie folders broken up on two different drives (see attachments).
 

- Recently when I choose "Movies" the next screen shows the two folders instead of showing me each scrolling title. I have deleted and added the movie folders back with no change.

Is there a setting somewhere that will disable this view?

Hi. If you've updated your server, make sure you update your EMC version to the latest Beta release.

Actually this is normal now in the plain folder view. We got this feedback during 4.0 beta testing that users wanted to see the original folder structures when in the folder view.

 

If you don't want them separated, then why use the folder view to begin with?

My content spans two physical drives so I have to create two folders in one Media Library. It used to be that adding several folders like this created a single poster view of all of them. This is  a basic concept of a HTPC, no?  

Sounds like I'm in the minority but adding several folders to a Media Library...only to have to select each sub folder to see a film seems a step backward. Maybe a future release could allow users to turn this feature on /off.

Hi.  Do you have "Legacy Browsing" enabled in the EMC settings?  If so, turn it off.

That fixed it.

 

I've had Legacy browsing on for literally years for the scrolling poster view. Seems like turning it off shows the poster view now.
