Does Emby WMC keep itself up to date ?

Hi, does Emby for WMC keep itself up to date or do you need to download the latest version ? If so, is there a method to install that keeps all your previous settings intact ? Thanks!

I believe if you have the automatically check for updates enable in the configuration -> advanced -> updates tab it will prompt you when a new update is available.  Usually a large green screen asking if you want to update will pop up.  Updating shouldn't erase your settings unless maybe the update is something major.

Yes, depending on the theme you just need to select the option that brings you to the configuration window. On my themes on the root screen you simply bring up the menu and select configuration.  On others it maybe a gear or wrench icon?

Ok great, I know how to get there. Is there a way to check which version you are running ? Sorry I'm at work so I can't pull it up to look.

I believe the version is shown on the configuration menu at the top right.
