jdpg2 8
I am having issues with the sound quality when playing ISO images streamed from my Media Server to my HTPC via MBT. All of the high frequency sounds sound like they are chipy/tinny/sharp. The only way to describe it is as if R2D2 was finishing each sound. The issue doesn't occur when playing back via TMT6 on the same hardware with the same configuration. I have messed with the LAV filters but haven't had any luck in removing the extra high pitched sounds. Anyone having a similar issue? Other than this MBT is working very well. Solution jdpg2 8 Posted December 31, 2013 Author Solution Share Posted December 31, 2013 I think I found out the issue.. it appears that TMB is only streaming PCM to my receiver. Any one know how to switch on DTS? I have the TMT5 dtsdecoderdll in the LAV folder with the values switched on but it still only sends PCM to my receiver. Suggestions?
