grangerg 2
Hi, Since the switch to the new Roku app (I'm on v3.0.50 on a Roku 3), I've been missing the legacy version of the app's ability to play all--or the rest---of the movies in a folder. I have a "Movies" type of library that I used to do this with on a daily basis. It's extremely useful for short, kids/toddler videos. In the past, I would navigate to a list of videos/movies, then press the "play/pause" button. That would directly start playing the selected movie, but when that ended, it would automatically start the next one. An so it would continue until the end of that list. IIRC, in a "Home videos & photos" library type, one could select a folder and pressing "play/pause" would play the whole folder. I have also attempted to do this with a Collection, but I was unable to get it to auto-play the next title. When I dropped into a library on the Roku app, I navigated down to the Collections area. I tried "play/pause" on the collection item itself, but nothing happened. I tried the "*" button, but that also did nothing. I went into the collection and "play/pause" directly played the first title, but it didn't auto-play the next; the "*" menu also didn't help. There is also no additional special "auto-play the rest..." option when dropping into the selected title's details/summary menu; just the usual stuff. Is there a replacement for this functionality that I've missed?
