Video scale problem

Hi

I'm currently using emby theater 2.7.9

Since around 1 months, I've got a problem with my video scale.

Before everything was ok, now when I launch a video, I only see a part of the video like there is a zoom effect.

I must windowed and full screen again to have the all video.

Even if I did that, I must do it again for all the video.

Do I miss something in the parameters ?

Bonus question : for some video, I have sound out of sync. If I play this video on vlc, it work ok. Do you know how to fix this problem ?

Thank for your help.

Hi,

I have had the same problem. Temperately fixed the issue by uninstalling ET (2.7.9) and reinstalling, however the issue has resurfaced ..

Couple screenshots to illustrate the issue one image using the web browser and the other ET

Size is set to 100%.

I've got two screen 1920x1080 and I switch to my TV 1920x1080 before launching theater.

Hi Luke,

   Good call,

My system was zoomed to make it easier to read text from across the room. Moving the slider back to 100% corrected the scaling issue in ET.

An image below shows the slider I am referring to

Ok so I investigate a bit more.

My computers screen are both 1920x1080 with 100% zoom. Theater work ok on it.

My TV screen is 3840x2160 and I can't see or change zoom level. Theater don't work ok on it even if I switch to 1920x1080.

I find the problem !

I add my TV to my 2 screens configuration and I look at the scale option. My TV screen was at 300% !

Is it possible to avoid this option in emby ?

I, too, am now having this problem.

I use my 4K tv as my pc's monitor in my home theater room; thus, I have scaled my display in Win10 to 300% to be able to see the desktop.  With my previous graphics card, Emby Theater worked fine with this setup.

However, I just installed a new graphics card, and now when I start a video in Emby Theater the picture is zoomed.  If I minimize Emby Theater, then maximize it, the zoom corrects itself, but I have to do this with each video I watch.

Is there a setting I can adjust to correct this?  I'm not sure why this setup worked with my previous graphics card, but now does not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at this, and try testing it to see if it helps

GTX 1070.  I think I've solved it.  I uninstalled ET, reinstalled it, set my zoom in Win10 to 100%, hit apply, then re-set my zoom in Win10 to 300%, hit apply, logged out of Win10, then logged back in to Win10, and that solved the issue.

In Win10's display settings there's a small note indicating that some software will not respond to adjustments to the settings until logging out then logging back in.  I believe this was the issue.

Thanks for all you guys do.
