Emby Tower

Hi,

since some weeks I'm evaluating Kodi together with Emby. In Kodi I'm using a addon called "stinger scene notification" (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=254004) which shows an information if a movie has a scene during or after the credits. For this the addon needs two tags, "duringcreditsstinger" or "afercreditsstinger".

Now my question: When a movie has one of this tags in its metadatas, does Kodi "seeing" them, so the addon is functionable?

ATM I can't test this by myself, so I have to ask you.

Thanks a lot.

No, since Emby server doesn't know about this tag, it can't tell Kodi.

@@Luke - this seems like a cool feature..

Little correction of my question:

I'm speaking about tags which are present in the metadata manager (as plot keywords, like tags are saved in Kodi) ... Perhaps I first was incorrect with my question ... ;)

Okay, well the Emby scraper won't create the tags for you, but I believe it will work if you add them.  Can't test myself either :)

Yes, emby metadata tags (not sure what keywords you are referring to) are added as tags in Kodi

Yes, emby metadata tags (not sure what keywords you are referring to) are added as tags in Kodi.

The addon is searching for "duringcreditsstinger" and "aftercreditsstinger" in the plot keywords. You find them as tags at TMDB or you can create them manually. And if it find one of these tags you will be informed about stingers ...
