"Automatically Login As" No longer functioning

I'm being presented with the User selected in Automatically Login As, validated and saved, when accessing Media Browser from all entry points (Server, Media Center, Media Center Extenders, and Web).

The MBCConfig.png image shows the configurator with the validated user for automatic logon.

 

The YMYW is the logon for this user when MBC is accessed with MCE on Xbox.

 

From WMC on the PC, the login is not presented.

 

This is the only user configured on the system.

If you are using an extender, you have to configure the automatic logon user from within MBC on that extender.  Logon to the extender as that user then go to the config pages and select "Logon as current user" for the option under "Start up behavior".

When I pull up the WBC Configurator I do not have a System tab to set up the Automatically Log In feature.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.  I am a new to EMBY and am sorry if this is a noob question.  I posted here as this topic seemed to fit though the specifics of cause are different.

 

Server Version 3.0.5518.7

 

MBC Version 3.0.258.0

You have to go into MBC itself and go into the configurator, all setting are there.

Where in MBC is the "configurator". I am in the same boat, I've just updated to MBC Ver 3.0.262.0 and now have no system tab in the configurator. But when I go into MBC all I get in the "configure" gear icon is a note saying "Configured to login as..." with no option to change this anywhere. Am I missing something?

He meant config pages in MBC.  In order to change that setting, you have to be logged in as the configured user.  This keeps your kids from changing the default.
