Steverido 6
Hi, I have the Emby server on two computers within my house hold. The one I use for adding new material and therefore has work in progress folders like seasons of TV not complete. I update the meta data on this server. My second server is in my living room and is the one that I use to watch everything and does not have the work in progress folders. It is also a complete backup of my other computer too. What I want to do though is set the living room server to automatically be the server offered to connect when I start MBC within Windows Media Center. If the computer in the other room has been started first, then when I want to watch something in the living room it tries to connect to the other server. Looked on the wiki for the MBC but it is outdated now and suggest that you can set it here to connect automatically. I suspect it is somewhere on the MBS but looking through I could not spot it. Wondering also if it is time to switch from using Windows Media Center to Emby Theatre or Samsung Smart TV. Any thoughts?
Solution ebr 14903 Posted April 4, 2015 Solution Share Posted April 4, 2015 The advanced tab of the config pages will allow you to set it to connect to the current server every time. You must be logged in with an admin account to see the advanced tab.
