Right, thank you! So either it’s because Emby doesn’t recognise the the 0. 1. 2. Etc Prefix (would you kindly try?), or there’s a bug.

No Need for Fields in your Query, I can add checkboxes to enable / dissable what to import- so you can just get all of the json everytime. Is this API built of the fly when searched or is it cached somewhere? The same images returned in Poster searches was a build error, I found it and fixed it in the code - will post soon

Okay, thanks. I'll keep looking around for a solution

@kjhedgesLet me think about this idea. Vic

@VicMooreA thought on the media items showing in legacy next up What about define a default user. I can then add a new user of pseudo tv and anything played for that user won’t show in any other users next up
-
Yes this is expected behavior from folder view and since library configs changed to database only it can only be changed via Emby API or directly in the database. <CollapseSingleItemFolders>false</CollapseSingleItemFolders> needs changed to true. There are several topics on this.

Thanks for the help. See attached. ffmpeg-remux-7014e556-7a2d-478e-a182-ff6b05c77455_1.txt

Yea, the m3us I've used it with contains the .mkv extension. I don't think anyone maintains that app.
-
@CaseyPGive me a little time to think about how to implement your request. I will get back with you late tomorrow. Vic

Have no issue here Playlist from Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended Essentials DVD folder so it started with Chapter 4 then chapter 5 and so one.
-
Yes - that's exactly what I'm doing. Weirdly though, if I do that on a Module folder (rather than a Course folder) they are still in the wrong order. Sounds like it worked for you, though.
-
Went to folder view and picked a folder and added to a playlist. But will have to retest as there weren't any nested folders just sequential files.
-
I don't believe that has been added yet - but it will be.

Hi, I'm trying to get this to work with my provider, but when I run the program I get an error with "Length cannot be less than zero" My M3u is formatted as follows: #EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="tt3359350" tvg-name="tt3359350" tvg-type="movies" group-title="Movies 2024" ,Road House (2024) https://tvnow.best/api/stream/MYUSERNAME/MYPASSWORD/movie/tt3359350 Does this have something to do with the M3U not containing the actual name of the MKV file? If I follow that link in Chrome it starts downloading the MKV automatically

You could also try this folder structure. The folder structure is... COURSE ABC [Folder]0. Module One [Folder] 10. First vid.mp4 11. Second vid.mp4 12. Third vid.mp4 1. Module Two [Folder] 20. First vid.mp4 21. Second vid.mp4 22. Third vid.mp4 And then edit the name in metadata.

Why no pic from the system not working? But if your 4.9.0.11/12 beta is not showing 1.6.3 then there is a problem with that server and many need to see server logs. But downgrading plugins can be problematic or impossible as they are built for a specific server version so older version probably will not load even if you could downgrade.
-
That's really strange. When you say you "dropped a parent folder". Are you doing this via a web browser? What exactly did you do? Nothing special about these courses - just a single folder (course) containing a number of subfolders (modules), each module folder containing a number of videos. All of the modules and videos are sequentially numbered "0. first file", "1. second file".

sabayon started following Unterordner im Ordner "Serien" verstecken
-
Ringo

If you right click the item, then edit metadata you can see the path. And drag it to its right order. Its cumbersome but doable.
-
Not really enough info as I dropped a parent folder if images into a playlist they all remained sequentially named. Guess I will have to find a cource module that I can possibly test with as I have never added any material like this to Emby.

@rbjtechAfter doing some research, I think it is a wifi signal strength. Did some speed tests and was getting a significantly weaker signal on my server pc, which is in a separate room from the router. I'm either going to move my pc closer to the router or buy a wifi booster for my pc. Thanks for the reply!- 8 replies

Sorry if I'm not explaining this well, but I can't do that. Once they're in a playlist I cannot tell which order they should be in because there's nothing in the file name/title to tell me... If I drag a folder into Apple TV (iTunes), or VLC, or Quicktime, or any other program on earth - it will add the files into its playlist in the filename order. Why is Emby randomising it??
