From the context menu for a song, I select "Add to Playlist". In the modal that pops up the only option is "New Playlist". I select that and in the new modal I enter the playlist name, then click the "Create" button. And this toast pops up: Eventually, the playlist appears in a new Playlist section of the left side menu. I can select it and it takes me to the playlist page with the one song. I can even play the playlist and it starts playing the song. I ssh into the server and go to the userplaylists directory but there are no files there for it at all. If I scan the playlist library and then click on the playlist in the left menu again it then says "The requested item could not be found. It may have been recently removed from the server." . When I go back to the home screen the playlist section of the left menu is gone. If I try to add a song to a playlist it again presents an empty modal with the only option as "New Playlist."

Part of the point is to add a reverse proxy to hide emby behind. And one that is easier to automate setting up SSL corticates. The IISCrypto thing.... I think is a bad, bad idea, as it can break all sorts of things on your system, and IIS allows you to disable legacy TLS support, anyways (which is why the IISCrypto).

Sorry all ! I just see i got answers here. I subscribed to a service and i don't have any control on the medias. In fact it seems to be better since one week, they maybe do something after i contact them about this problem. (they told me they corrected something but i don't know what) I think my problem was not about the application but the server. Thanks a lot all and sorry to not have answered before.

Not sure if this is an e4k issue, a skin issue, or a combo, but trying "Arctic Zephyr - Reloaded" on Omega it can't load images as it seems to think the links are to directories. I can update to 4.8.5. I read there was some issue with 4.8.4; that's why I didn't update the version yet. I will try to update it now. In the meantime, did you notice anything weird or any prominent issues in the logs?

Forgive me if this has been asked here before. I tried to search for bit, but I am not even sure what I am looking for honestly. What I would like to do is add space to the top of detail view of TV shows and movies. So that I can see more of the background image. I don't want this space everywhere just on the detail page for movies and TV Shows Right now it looks like this: Ideally I would like it to look something more like this: Is this possible? I know very little, next to nothing about coding. Thanks!

This fixed it: For some reason I had subtitle on the fly extraction disabled. In theory subs should still work with it disabled (by using transcoding), but anyway... Once enabled, subs are working on the LG app. You can close it.

No change with server 4.8.5. My testing of 4.8.x was with a collection of about 500 tracks and shuffle seemed to be working, my main library has over 18000 tracks so maybe size matters. Also, it is not just shuffle that's broken, clicking play has the same behaviour in the same combinations as I mentioned earlier.

Thanks for adding the tags for music videos. I noticed that tv show collections are not synced. Hopefully you will get a chance to add it in version 10. Cheers, LongMan

It didn’t fix the issue. However, I did notice the issue only occurs with poster images and thumbnails. Backdrops work perfectly fine for some reason embyserver.txt

With that specific video, it hangs on the Windows App. It might have to do with a sub-par encode. Let me explain: If I open the video directly from MPC-HC or VLC, this is how some of the characters look: It should be "¿Acaso podemos darnos el lujo de discutir por tonterías sin preocuparnos de la situación?" So the "¿", "í" and "ó" characters have been replaced by "strange question marks" inside squares. So even MPC and VLC don't show the subs correctly, so for sure those subrip subs are broken from origin. In Emby's case, those unsupported/broken characters lead to whole sentences missing instead of showing a "strange question mark" symbol. The sentences are fairly readable with the "strange question" marks on MPC, but subs are totally useless if 2 out of 3 sentences are missing (what Emby is doing). It hides those whole sentences with all Emby players that I've tried: Edge, Firefox, and LG... except on the Windows App, which doesn't even play the video at all, even when disabling the subtitles from the start. No issue with other subrip Spanish subtitles with Spanish symbols such as "ñ" or "á". I can send you the video so that you can test around with badly produced subtitles, to make Emby more resilient to badly encoded subs.

Hi, what do you mean by resync the library? Emby apps don't have a "resync" function.
