Okay but when I switch it out for an Android device the problem is resolved, so you're saying that Roku uses a different port on my server then the 8096? Or is the Android devices using a different ports and 8096? Why is it different when it comes to the devices? Roku buffers Android does not. Does Roku have a way to vpn? Some people are paying for Google VPN and don't even know it, I love my Google VPN it has better speeds than almost all the other vpns.

The ISP can traffic shape their network and alter priority. So YouTube, Sling, other big guys can proceed with priority traffic. Then the little guys, aka anyone else, get their packets delayed enough that it causes issues with buffering.

OK apologies for the inconsistency. In the android TV app it is the Zoom option.

Access token is invalid of expired on Delete using my API_Key
Luke replied to Brazer's topic in Developer API
OK please attach the emby server log from when that happened. Thanks. -
Hi, we don't have a screen sharing feature. You can only send media to play. Once you activate remote control by selecting your TV, then just play any content and it will play on the TV.

It sounds to me like the disk I/O operations are never completing. can you temporarily enable debug logging, then restart the server, recreate the issue, and then attach the debug log? Thanks.

ISP Port throttling. Are you running youtube on port 8096? Obviously the answer to that is no, so that is why you could see a difference between Emby and YouTube. And again it could be happening on your side, your user's side, or both. If this is occurring, then using different port numbers besides the defaults, and/or setting up SSL are a couple things users have reported anecdotally to get around it.

The splash is a little different as it technically loaded before custom css as to why I mentioned changing the physical image or the index.html. Discussed in other topics. .app-slash

Ipad can't connect to Server following EMBY Server update on 19/4
Happy2Play replied to AJAYSWebDesign's topic in General/Windows
I would statically assign an ip to the host or in your router do a dhcp reservation for the server. -

@Davey's Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks! -

ya no funciona en la vercion Versión 4.8.5.0 Sorry I don't follow as I just tested and it works with a proper url. used that code and pointed to an image above. What exactly did you use?

Throttling on emby? But not throttling on sling or YouTube or any other platform? It's very hard to explain to somebody that emby is a different type of stream, they think that regardless of what it is it's a video and it should work regardless of what platform it is. But I try to stand behind the emby and explain to them the best I can. For now I try to talk them into going to an Android device, Nvidia Shield preferred.. the one in question that I sent the log file for, buffers on everything, said he tried four or five channels of the same channel from different IPTV providers that I have.. within minutes I turn my TV on to the same channels no problem.. if I change the box out from a Roku to an Android version and the problem goes away, there's no way it can be a throttling problem on the ISP side. But I understand your thought.

Hi. Make sure you have "Remember Me" turned on in the app settings.

So now it doesn’t hang but it doesn’t actually change the image. In this video I’m choosing the images that look different from the options, but they never change Also I’m not sure if this might be a cause but this server is using a backup from a Synology. Yes, Roku does have, or at least did have, such an option. I think it is under something called "Bandwidth saving" or some such. It is also one of the few "options" Roku has that they defaulted, at least on my Rokus, to off (or to the least intrusive setting). That means i never turned it off so I have no idea if turning it on gets reset from time to time.

This happens even if I have the dashboard open

Hi there, can you please show a screenshot example? Thanks.

It does if you turn on the option in settings. Missing episodes between existing ones in a season will be shown as they were before. Missing episodes at the end of the season are not currently detected.
