En el registro se ve como cancelo el escaneo tras 1158 minutos, más de 19 horas para escanear las librerías y encontrar elementos nuevos. Son muchas horas para el escaneo, porque tarda tantas horas? antes no tardaba tantas horas, no os parecen muchas horas?. Adjunto capturas de las librerías que tengo, de las opciones avanzadas de librerías y unas imágenes numeradas de la lista de opciones de una librería de películas, espero que sirvan. En cuanto pueda haré otro escaneo de las bibliotecas y tomaré de nuevo los registros a ver si vemos algo en ellos.

Slow Horses, How did I miss this... Prob because I don't sub to Apple TV.. What a gem of a TV show. I'm originally from the UK and this show tick's all the boxes for me. Remember CI5 (The Professionals) lol.. (Bodie & Doyle). This show has a layer of dark comedy (which I love).

I've had simular issues, but after updating this morning to EMBY v4.8.4.0, with 'fix duplicate live tv views', it seems to have solved my problems. For some months already, in my live-TV EPG, several TV channels had double entries, chosing a certian channel or program, gave me the impression that there were 2 entries, and I thus maybe didn't always choose the correct one and thus the recording failed: maybe Luke or somebody else can eleborate more details about this issue ? I checked and the plugin is compatible. However there is a strm file issue which seems to cause issues in latest Kodi versions. I'll fix it. fyi Top Picks has issues with reporting progress info via API. The progress is not consistent between referenced movies.

@feerlessleadrFor the moment, the EPG is rebuilt from scratch each time an EPG upload is initiated. I did this to simplify debugging. Luke programmed the TV platform to support both complete rebuilds and adding new channel data to the end of the current EPG. I will enable this feature soon. Vic

Revisiting VirtualTV after some time away. Using the latest Dev build on a M1 Mac. Even though I have all the appropriate items checked in the playback progress section my Continues Watching is littered with half watched shows if I do any sort of channel surfing during a viewing session. Anything I can provide to help pinpoint the issue just let me know. Also note that for some reason, when ever this happens (after I clean up all the Continue Watching shows) I will usually get 3 movies (always the same ones) in that list even though I dont use VirtualTV for movies. These movies are fully watched and have been for years but somehow are getting marked partially watched at this time so the above may be part of a larger watch state issue?

Thanks. I currently use native mode for the addon, you mention though that addon mode is suggested. Is there an actual benefit in using addon mode vs native mode apart from the trancoding ? Would it make the addon function more reliably in this mode ?

This one's probably up to @Luke. It really depends on whether we want the clients to include these items split into different rows and include music, etc. I can see how it could be useful but I'm not sure how common it would be for people to have such mixed collections. I don't think we would add it to ATV unless the plan was to go that way for all clients.

As a Plex user for many years there are so many things to love and prefer about Emby. Was about to pull the trigger on a lifetime membership then decided to evaluate for another day and then I hit deal breaker issues. A large amount of TV/shows are not being found at all. They are all correctly formatted with [Film Name] [Film year] / [TV show name] [TV show Season] [TV show Episode]. I've checked through Emby TV and Movie naming pages and these naming conventions are supported. I've further tried putting these files into subfolders and using different naming conventions but unfortunately Emby is just not seeing them. For context my files are all visible and correctly matched in Plex. Let's face it they are also in the format that 95% of torrent files are delivered in. It's so disappointing as I absolutely love the Emby UI and playback features. Is there a solution? Thx ps. Movies/TV libraries don't update when media is removed from folders. I still have shows/movies displayed that were deleted yesterday - and I've scanned library files several times.

This fixed finally a somewhat vague issue around my EPG en TV-recordings, etc. in Emby update 4.8.4.0 (double EPG entries and thus issues chosing the correct one, recordings not starting, etc., this now seems to be fixed!), especially in Emby WMC ui, this was very anoying and disturbing: thanks very much for fixing it! Seems to be a problem with 4.8.4.0 since everything I scanned in this morning after updating seems to be having issues (including media that previously scanned in successfully so I don't think it's a problem with the files necessarily). For this example in the log, I scanned a show folder back in that I previously moved out of the library, and tried playing an episode. Playback Error... No Audio/Subtitle Selections... Server Log... embyserver (2).txt Let me know if there's anything else I can provide to help

Hello, I'm a complete newbie to this, so sorry if it is an obvious question. My problem: I have a working add-on in my Kodi installation (Emby for kodi next gen 9.4.19). Everything seems to work fine, my library is loaded, i can play the files. However when i try to download a subtitle through Kodi, it shows very strange filenames with large strings in front of the name, like this: e-8129-3a4a00005f7219f238530f473996636ed7-2267-27006-1-1-0-0-0-0-h264-8171679-ac3384000--supergirl.s03e08.1080p.HDTV.x264_PLUTONIUM.mkv Because of this no subtitle is found. When I do a manual search on "supergirl.s03e08.1080p.HDTV.x264_PLUTONIUM.mkv" it does come with results. Furthermore in the above case it shows the actual filename after "--", but this is not always the case. For instance another show has an actual filename on disk of "Allo Allo S1E01 - The Fallen Madonna.mkv" and is shown ther as "e-274-<rest of large string as above>--Allo_Allo_S01E01___The_fallen_Madonna.mkv" . Where are these strings coming from and how to get rid of them? And where are the last part filenames (Allo_Allo_S01E01___The_fallen_Madonna.mkv) coming from and why is this not the actual filename? Hope you can help me with this.
