12000 is nuts, but the app doesn't pull it down from the server at full size anyway so it shouldn't be a problem. It requests it from the server with a max height of 260, which means the final resolution is 652 * 260.

@Lukeif that is the case may need to look at resolution restrictions. As TMDB will have the largest images available over everyone else.

In fact this is how it's presented in Plex: At the bottom you can see other Editions, that relates to other versions and includes if you have it in your library even a link to the soundtrack. Definetely we need something like this in Emby

Are your IPTV channels using VPN somehow?
- Today

We need a way to distinguish editions (theatrical, director's cut, colorized, etc), technical versions (different resolution, different audio encoding, etc), and different language versions. I like the screen shots DarkStar1977 included in their last post. I don't know how messy the implementation would be.

5-10 shows a day without issue, on stable server i don't use xteve anymore, only iptvboss for combining and customising two m3us. but when i did use xteve i had no issues with the channels coming from my local tv server, only the iptv channels

The first was the gateway. those three were next. So I misunderstood. 10 is not ideal. That sucks but it explains things.
-
Are those the first three lines? - an address starting with 10. is bad news. Paul

that is the default router assigned value. it is not an isp supplied router. Not sure about another isp supplied so I will look into it further.
-
Is this your own router? Do you have an ISP provided modem/router combo that is in front of this device? In my case I do and I have to set up port forwarding on the ISP modem/router to forward to my pfSense device, which then also has its own NAT/firewall rules to continue to forward the port.

groenator started following VPN for M3U recordings only

@SpaceboyAre you recording routinely? XTeVe always caused my recordings to end early, and now I have the same with threadfin. Neither use buffering.

Best ! The logo from themoviedb was 12000 pixel width. After removing it the series has no more problems and is much faster on the other TVs. Maybe you should introduce a maximum size for picture. Thx and best

Not necessarily as both Plex and Emby have modified Exoplayer. Plex couldn't always play outside the boundaries of the video either as this subject has been brought up before. I would add a post to the FR section if that's something you want Emby to look into because there may be others. I'm with @GrimReaper though. They aren't "broken" now as all my UHD play within the video when I stick them into my disc player. I have subtitles on all the time and the further your eyes are from the center to read subtitles the more you miss of the actual picture. Options are always nice though.

TV Extras not working when multiple versions exist
Luke replied to timgreen's topic in General/Windows
Officially the guidance is the same, however I have tested this and reproduced, so there is an open issue when combining these two things. -
Did you type in that value? Can it be left blank?
-
not sure this is what you mean.... 192.168.88.254 This is the router
-
@Luke, can you please have a quick look at the server log in the first post, there are lots of 'System.IO.FileNotFoundException: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Unable to find the specified file.' exceptions I don't know if these are related

You can PM a link to sample or file to me if you want

Christophe5214 started following Time driven auto log out
-
Hello everyone, As far as I can see, in every Emby Theater versions I've tried (ie: Windows, web, Android, Lg WebOS), once a user has logged in, whenever the client i sstarted, it automatically logs in back on the same server and with the same credentials. I fully understand the use case, and I also suspect it suits most people. This means however that, whenever I watch a movie in the evening with my account, if I forget to log out (which happens all the time honestly ), the next user (ie: my kids) in the morning suddenly has access to all my movies, and not only to the movies for the "kids" user. => Feature request: the option to activate, for each user, a time driven automatic log out function. That is, when Emby Theater starts, before automatically logging in with the last used credentials, it checks if that new option is active, look at how much time has elapsed since it last ran, and if this is more than 2 hours (this time could eventually be configurable of course), it does not automatically log back in.

Finished TV Shows Repopulate back into the Continue Watching section
Luke replied to BMD28's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
You should be able to just uninstall the Trakt plugin. Doing that alone won't change anything for existing episodes, so it will just be a matter of waiting to see if it happens again after that. -

Will I need to clear the app data and start over again to remove the trakt plug-in or is there another way to remove it?? -
Hi, there's already an open request for this or something functionally equivalent. Please join in and contribute to the existing discussion at:
